Meet Hussain of Rakaposhi Air

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hussain.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Rakaposhi Air Solutions LLC started with one goal. Do honest HVAC work and treat people right.
I began my HVAC journey by planning to attend HCC to earn a trade certificate and start working as an HVAC technician right after school. I believed in learning by doing and gaining real field experience from day one.
Over the years, I worked hands-on in the field on homes, businesses, and complex HVAC systems. I also worked with nation-leading organizations like Daikin, JBT AeroTech, and Texas Children’s Hospital. These experiences helped me grow my skills, lead teams, and gain the required hours toward licensing.
After a decade in the field, I earned my license through hard work and persistence. I completed all required hours and took the Texas state HVACR exam multiple times. It was challenging, but I never gave up. Finally, I passed and received my Texas HVACR state license.
With that achievement, I started Rakaposhi Air. I wanted to build a company that shows up on time, explains issues clearly, and does the job the right way. No shortcuts. No pressure.
Today, Rakaposhi Air proudly serves Houston and nearby areas. We focus on reliable heating and cooling and long-term comfort our customers can trust.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I started with limited resources and learned everything the hard way. Long hours. Tough jobs. Many days in extreme heat and cold. I balanced work, family, and constant learning at the same time.
One of the biggest struggles was getting licensed. I had to complete all required hours and take the state HVACR exam more than once. Failing was hard, but quitting was never an option. Each attempt taught me something new.
Building trust, gaining experience, and growing step by step took time. But those challenges shaped how I work today. They made me patient, honest, and focused on doing the job right for every customer.

We’ve been impressed with Rakaposhi Air , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Rakaposhi Air is a local HVAC company built on honesty, skill, and real care for customers. We serve Houston and nearby areas. We provide commercial and residential heating and cooling services, including repairs, replacements, new installations, and maintenance.
We also specialize in commercial refrigeration and duct cleaning. From walk-in coolers and freezers to clean, healthy airflow inside homes and businesses, we focus on safe, proper, and long-lasting solutions.
We are known for accurate diagnostics and quality work. We take time to explain the issue in simple terms and fix it the right way. We work on high-efficiency systems, standard units, and older equipment.
What sets us apart is personal, hands-on service. The owner is fully licensed and directly involved in the work. We show up on time, respect your space, and stand behind our work. No pressure. No shortcuts.
Brand-wise, we are most proud of trust. Our customers return and refer us to family and friends. Rakaposhi Air is about comfort, reliability, and honest service for both residential and commercial clients.

What matters most to you? Why?
I’ve seen too many people get rushed repairs or shortcuts that fail later. I want every customer—home or business—to feel confident that their heating, cooling, or refrigeration system is safe, reliable, and working as it should.
Trust matters because it builds lasting relationships. When people know they can rely on you, they come back and refer you to others. That is more important than any single job or sale. It’s the foundation of Rakaposhi Air and why I do what I do every day.
