Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Mantooth.

Hi Tiffany, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was regional Director of operations over inpatient skilled nursing facility, rehab department for several years. During the Covid pandemic, the quality of care at the larger facilities was nonexistent. Not only was this heartbreaking. It was exhausting. I knew I could do better and give the quality of life I believe people at this stage their life deserve. I decided to open my own small type B assisted living facilities and focus on quality of life and integrity. While I took a substantial pay cut, I am much happier doing something I feel is truly making a difference for our residents and their families who are overwhelmed and needing a quality environment, they can trust with their loved ones

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
And the beginning, it was not smooth at all. The surveys, permits and certificate process were a very lengthy and challenging process. Once all of those were completed and approved, it was challenging to acquire my first resident, despite my knowledge, experience, and rapport, I have established throughout the years of physical and occupational therapy with the geriatric community and surrounding skilled nursing facilities and inpatient rehabs.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We provide in house five star 24 Hour quality care for those needing assistance with ADLs or approaching end stage life. We have 24 hour on-call nursing and physician. We are an all-inclusive facility, not a level based. We provide fully furnished rooms and amenities. We provide assistance with all levels of ADL care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, medication management and Housekeeping. We have a wonderful menu with three home-cooked meals per day and snacks in between or upon request. We also offer Homehealth physical therapy or in-house hospice care assistance and referrals. We are able to meet all needs and levels of care with compassion, empathy, and dignity.
