Hi Cassidy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hi! My name is Cassidy! Thinking back on this question, there is so much I can discuss. Those first few sessions, getting my first professional camera, or working my first wedding. While there are many highlights, it is vital to mention the first time I was truly able to play with photography. The first memory of a camera was of my dad. He would always take family videos, and in almost every one, I would shout, “I see!” Both my parents were really incredible about documenting life and capturing those precious memories. I remember my church allowing the younger girls to create art with our photos, and that was the first time I thought to myself, I kind of like this. From then on, I started playing with my parents’ camera. Fast forward a couple of years, and my grandpa had always taken a lot of photos and gifted me his old Olympus point-and-shoot camera. I thought I had won the lottery. Over many years, I worked my way up to my first professional-grade camera. Throughout this whole journey, there has been a constant theme of blessings of investments from others. I would not be where I am today without someone investing in me. I am now incredibly blessed to shoot with my dream setup, not because of what I did alone, but because of the actions of others and God’s blessings. I now get to be the hands and feet of Jesus to so many brides, seniors, and families. It truly is a blessing and the joy of my life.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey has definitely not been the easiest. I’ve learned a lot through trial and error, and I’ve had some humbling experiences that have shaped my practices into what they are today. When I first started in photography, I often wondered why people chose to hire well-known photographers instead of me. I was fortunate to have a few repeat clients who allowed me to capture moments and learn along the way. Looking back, I recognize that I had much to learn, and I now appreciate my worth. I understand that every photographer has their own style, and while I may not be everyone’s preference, that’s perfectly okay.

I am all about connection and creating authentic relationships. I love all my clients dearly and would LOVE to capture your precious moments. I love not only the creativity of photography, but also the authenticity of every session! At Cassidy Hope Photography, my heart is to create an authentic representation of every session I’m invited into. Whether I’m documenting a wedding day, capturing the first few days of a newborn’s life, or celebrating any of life’s sweet moments, I truly love preserving the joy in each season. My style is whimsical yet timeless—dreamy, heartfelt images that will always feel meaningful. I specialize in weddings, seniors, and lifestyle photography! My goal with Cassidy Hope Photography is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in every encounter and to make every person feel loved and valued.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Being joyful, engaging, building people up, making them comfortable in front of the camera, and, most importantly, reminding them they are worth being photographed.
