Today we’d like to introduce you to Tareq Beck.
Tareq, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey into dentistry started with a passion for surgery, precision, and helping people regain confidence in their health and smile. I trained as a periodontist and dental implant specialist, focusing early on advanced surgical procedures and full-mouth rehabilitation.
Over time, I became especially interested in implant dentistry and full-arch reconstruction, where we can completely transform a patient’s life in a single procedure. That passion pushed me to constantly refine my surgical protocols and adopt new technology that improves precision and patient outcomes.
Today, I lead NewMe Dental Implant Specialists, where our team focuses primarily on dental implants and full-mouth restorations. We perform a high volume of implant procedures and have built a fully integrated digital workflow that includes in-house scanning, digital design, and our own dental laboratory, allowing us to control quality and efficiency from surgery to final restoration.
My philosophy has always been simple: combine advanced surgical training, digital technology, and a strong team to deliver life-changing results for patients who often thought they had run out of options.
Beyond clinical work, I’m passionate about innovation, education, and helping advance implant dentistry, whether through adopting new technology, mentoring colleagues, or continuously improving how we deliver care.
For me, the most rewarding part of the journey is seeing the impact this treatment has on patients—restoring not just teeth, but confidence, health, and quality of life.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like most entrepreneurial journeys, it definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Building a specialized implant practice comes with a lot of challenges, both clinically and on the business side.
Early on, one of the biggest hurdles was building trust and establishing a reputation. Implant dentistry is highly technical, and patients are often nervous about surgery, so it takes time to demonstrate consistent results and gain referrals from patients and other doctors.
Another challenge has been keeping up with rapidly evolving technology. Digital dentistry, surgical planning, 3D printing, and in-house labs require constant learning and significant investment. But I’ve always believed that if technology can improve precision and patient outcomes, it’s worth embracing.
Like any growing practice, there were also operational challenges—building the right team, creating efficient systems, and maintaining high standards while scaling the practice. Finding talented people who share the same vision for patient care is one of the most important—and sometimes difficult—parts of growth.
There have also been moments where things didn’t go as planned, whether that was trying new systems, equipment, or partnerships that ultimately didn’t work out. But those experiences usually become the biggest learning opportunities.
Overall, the challenges have actually shaped the practice into what it is today. They’ve pushed me to keep improving systems, investing in innovation, and focusing on delivering the best possible care for patients.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Newme Dental Implants of Houston ?
Our practice, NewMe Dental Implant Specialists, is focused almost entirely on dental implants and full-mouth reconstruction. We specialize in helping patients who have lost most or all of their teeth, or who have been told elsewhere that their case is too complex. Our goal is to restore both function and confidence through advanced implant solutions.
What makes our practice unique is that we have built a fully integrated digital implant center. From diagnosis and surgical planning to prosthetic design and manufacturing, much of the workflow is done in-house. This includes digital scanning, 3D printing, surgical planning, and our own dental laboratory. By controlling the entire process, we can improve precision, reduce treatment time, and provide a much more streamlined experience for patients.
We are particularly known for full-arch implant rehabilitation, often referred to as “full mouth dental implants.” These are life-changing procedures where patients can go from failing teeth or dentures to a fixed set of teeth supported by implants, often in a very short timeframe. Many of our patients travel long distances to receive treatment because we focus heavily on this type of care.
Another thing that sets us apart is experience and surgical volume. Over the years we have performed thousands of implant procedures and continuously refine our protocols using digital technology, guided surgery, and modern biomaterials to improve outcomes and healing.
Brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is the reputation we’ve built around trust, innovation, and results. Our team works extremely hard to create an environment where patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their treatment decisions.
At the end of the day, our brand is about giving people their lives back. When someone comes in unable to eat properly or embarrassed to smile and leaves with a healthy, confident smile again, that transformation is incredibly meaningful for both the patient and our team.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happiest is seeing the direct impact our work has on people’s lives. In implant dentistry, many of our patients come to us after years of struggling with failing teeth, pain, or dentures that make it difficult to eat, speak, or smile confidently. Being able to restore their smile and function—sometimes in a single procedure—is incredibly rewarding. Seeing someone walk out with renewed confidence and quality of life is something that never gets old.
I also find a lot of fulfillment in building and growing a team. Creating an environment where talented people can develop their skills, take pride in their work, and contribute to changing patients’ lives is something I value deeply. A great team makes it possible to deliver the level of care we aim for every day.
Another thing that motivates me is innovation and continuous improvement. Dentistry, especially implant dentistry, is evolving quickly with digital technology, surgical techniques, and materials. I enjoy learning, testing new workflows, and finding ways to make treatments more precise, efficient, and predictable for patients.
Outside of work, what makes me happy is spending time with family, traveling, and experiencing different cultures. Those experiences help me recharge and bring new perspective back to both life and work.
At the core, what brings me the most happiness is growth—personally, professionally, and helping others improve their lives along the way.
