Today we’d like to introduce you to Kunal Seth.
Hi Kunal, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Founder of Seth Real Estate Group, Kunal Seth has built a powerhouse real estate brand, closing over half a billion dollars in transactions since 2014. His team is known for its polished professionalism, deep market knowledge, and client-first approach. Before entering real estate, Kunal established a strong foundation in finance and operations, holding roles at Deloitte & Touche and Transocean. That experience shaped his sharp business acumen and commitment to excellence, traits that continue to define his leadership style today. In 2023, Kunal Seth expanded his entrepreneurial scope to include a 3-story commercial building in Sugar Land, THE SETH. This building is home to his real estate business, a collaborative coworking space, and an event center.
But beyond business, Kunal’s true passions lies in making a lasting impact. He’s the author of First Generation Mindset, a bestselling book focused on shifting perspectives and building generational wealth. As a coach and mentor, he helps entrepreneurs and professionals overcome limiting beliefs and take bold action.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Transitioning from corporate America to entrepreneurship comes with a unique set of challenges, including losing the built-in structure, navigating income uncertainty, and learning to wear multiple hats all at once.
It’s both exciting and demanding, and it really tests your self-discipline and internal drive. You quickly realize how much responsibility rests on your ability to stay focused and keep moving forward, even when things feel uncertain.
That said, the reward far outweighs the struggles. Having the freedom to shape your own path and build something meaningful, something that can create lasting, even generational impact, is truly priceless.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I lead several diverse brands, many of which are centered around helping others grow and become more successful. At the center of it all is THE SETH, which stands for Successful Entrepreneurs Transformed Here. It’s more than just a building, it’s a hub designed to bring people, ideas, and opportunities together.
THE SETH is home to my real estate team, Seth Real Estate Group, as well as our commercial division, Seth Commercial. On the residential side, we pride ourselves on putting the client first and doing whatever it takes to deliver results. On the commercial side, we work closely with local business owners, churches, and organizations to develop customized strategies that help them grow and succeed.
We also operate The Seth Event Space, which includes three unique venues where members of the community can celebrate life’s biggest moments, from birthdays and engagements to graduations and corporate events. Creating a place where people can come together and make meaningful memories is something my team takes a lot of pride in.
The second floor of THE SETH is dedicated to our coworking space. It’s not just a place to work, it’s a space designed for collaboration, connection, and innovation, where like-minded individuals can build and grow together.
In addition, we’ve developed an architectural studio that allows architects, designers, builders, and clients to experience their projects at full scale before construction even begins. Being able to walk through a space and make real-time decisions before breaking ground is a game changer.
What sets me apart is my focus on building ecosystems, not just businesses. Everything we’ve created is designed to serve a purpose, bring people together, and create opportunities for others to succeed. What I’m most proud of is being able to build something that not only drives results, but also has a lasting impact on the community.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t really believe in luck, at least not in the way most people think about it. I believe much more in grit, consistency, and determination. I’ve found that when you stay committed, keep pushing forward, and surround yourself with the right people, you tend to create your own opportunities.
That’s not to say timing or circumstances don’t play a role, but I don’t rely on them. I focus on what I can control, putting in the work, staying disciplined, and continuing to move forward regardless of the challenges. Over time, that approach compounds and puts you in positions that others might call “lucky.”
