Check Out Ashley Arrington’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Arrington.

Ashley, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?

Agape Global began from a place of faith, purpose, and a deep desire to serve. Before it became a nonprofit, it was first birthed through a ministry called *I AM AGAPE*—a space where individuals could grow spiritually while seeking God and experiencing His presence in a real and personal way. As we watched lives being touched and transformed, it became clear that God was calling us to expand beyond the walls of ministry and into the community in a greater way.

That’s how Agape Global was created. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is simple but powerful: *Empowering Communities One Person at a Time.* The name “Agape” represents unconditional love—the highest form of love—and reflects our commitment to serving others with compassion, grace, and purpose. “Global” speaks to the vision God placed on our hearts: to go beyond limits, reaching people not just locally, but wherever there is a need.

Today, Agape Global continues to grow as a foundation dedicated to providing aid, resources, and support to individuals and families in need. We are especially passionate about mental health advocacy, ensuring that people feel seen, supported, and valued in every stage of life. Through our programs, we are able to meet people where they are and walk alongside them in their journey. Our *Mental Her* and *Mental Him* mentorship programs create safe spaces for women and men to grow, heal, and be empowered. *Chat & Pack* allows us to engage directly with communities by providing essential items while having meaningful conversations that break stigma and build connection. Our *Clean & Confident Kid Initiative* focuses on youth, promoting hygiene, confidence, and self-worth so children can show up as their best selves.

What started as a ministry has now become a movement—one rooted in love, driven by faith, and committed to making a lasting impact in communities everywhere

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a interesting process. We have had our ups and downs as a business with having an overflow to having a lack of resources , volunteers, and funds. This makes the the effort to showcase impact worth it.!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
So when I first started the nonprofit, I was a medical assistant. I have now transitioned to a social worker. I am currently in the internship phase of complete my masters of social work program. What a fun fact is that I didn’t realize I was doing social work when I started the organization until four years ago God instructed me to go on and go back to get my bachelors in social work.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I always wanted to share. I always wanted to showcase love in some capacity, whether that will be speaking, smiling, hugging, or even just simply wanted to give.
