Hi Cheron K., it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My story begins in childhood, shaped by a traumatic experience – molestation – that altered how I understood love, safety, and connection. Like many women who endure early violations of trust, I found myself searching for love in places that could not truly sustain or heal me. That season of my life, while painful, became the foundation for my voice and my purpose.
Out of that journey, I began to write and create stories that resonate deeply with the human experience—stories that confront real pain, speak to unhealed wounds, and ultimately point toward transformation. My work has always been rooted in truth, because I understand what it means to live through it.
My path has been anything but linear. I went from navigating life as an adult on welfare, to experiencing marriage five times, to ultimately evolving into a woman who uses her life as a blueprint to help others. Every chapter—both the challenges and the victories—has shaped my mission.
Today, I use my voice, my platforms, and my creative work to change lives globally. My story was never just about me—it was about showing others that healing is possible, growth is real, and no matter where you begin, you can rise into purpose.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey began with significant financial hardship, navigating life on welfare. That season, however, became a turning point, leading me to pursue dental hygiene school. That decision changed the trajectory of my life, providing stability, the ability to raise my children, and opportunities to travel and expand my worldview.
Beyond financial struggles, I faced deeper personal challenges—navigating various forms of abuse: spiritual, emotional, and physical. Those experiences tested me in ways that required not only resilience, but intentional healing.
Through therapy and coaching, I began the work of healing from the inside out. In that process, I developed a deep sense of self-love and self-awareness. That transformation didn’t just change how I saw myself—it changed how I moved through the world, how I made decisions, and how I allowed others to engage with me.
What once felt like obstacles ultimately became the foundation for my growth. My journey has taught me that healing is powerful, and when you truly choose yourself, it can completely redirect your life.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a visionary creator, author, and global relationship expert dedicated to transforming lives through storytelling, coaching, and media. At my core, I specialize in relationships—helping individuals understand love, healing, and the dynamics that shape how we show up in partnerships. As an international matchmaker, often referred to as the “Marriage Code Cracker,” my work centers on emotional intelligence, self-worth, and guiding high-value men and women toward healthy, aligned relationships.
Beyond coaching, I am the creator and executive producer of Preachers’ Exes, a global reality television franchise that explores the untold stories of women once connected to influential men in the church. With the upcoming release of Preachers’ Exes of Houston, the franchise is expanding internationally, with Lagos and Johannesburg as the next markets. This project is more than entertainment—it is a cultural conversation that brings truth, healing, and awareness to spaces that have long been silenced.
In addition, my film Wild Horse is being used in churches and curated singles spaces as part of a broader initiative to restore hope and redefine love. Through screenings and discussions, the film serves as a reminder that love does exist, while also creating safe environments for individuals to heal, reflect, and prepare for healthy relationships.
Through all of my platforms—including my podcast 5x Wifed—I create spaces for real, unfiltered conversations about love, identity, healing, and truth. My work lives at the intersection of entertainment, wellness, and education—what I call transformative content.
What I am most proud of is my ability to turn my lived experiences into impact. I don’t teach from theory; I teach from a life that has been tested, refined, and rebuilt. Whether through my books, shows, films, or coaching, I help people see themselves differently and make empowered choices.
What sets me apart is my authenticity and my willingness to say what others won’t. I bring both compassion and clarity. I understand pain, but I also challenge people to rise beyond it. I’ve lived many lives in one—from welfare to global influence—and that perspective allows me to connect with diverse audiences in a deeply meaningful way. I don’t just create content—I create experiences that shift how people think, feel, and ultimately, how they live.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Everything I do is rooted in truth—my truth. I don’t present a polished version of life; I share the real journey, including the challenges, the healing, and the growth. That authenticity has allowed me to genuinely connect with people across the world, because they see themselves in my story.
Alongside authenticity, resilience has been essential. I’ve faced adversity on multiple levels, but I’ve never allowed it to define my outcome. Instead, I’ve used every experience as a building block. Self-awareness also played a critical role—once I committed to healing and understanding who I truly am, I was able to move with clarity, confidence, and intention.
Together, authenticity, resilience, and self-awareness have shaped not only my success, but the impact I’m able to make. They’ve allowed me to lead, create, and serve from a place that is both honest and transformative.
