Rising Stars: Meet Arhinna Luciano of Houston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Arhinna Luciano.

Hi Arhinna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Arhinna Luciano is a Houston-based guidance professional with over a decade of experience supporting youth and families through growth, transition, and self-discovery. Known for her grounded presence and intuitive insight, she bridges the worlds of traditional school-based guidance and depth-oriented personal development.
In addition to her work in education, Arhinna fully embraces her calling as a Tarot Life Coach, where clinical awareness meets symbolic and intuitive practice. She earned her master’s degree in Family, Couple, and Individual Therapy from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2015, further strengthening her integrative approach. Her work draws from psychology, influenced by the teachings of Carl Jung, and weaves together tarot, oracle card interpretation, numerology, astrology, and holistic wellness traditions into a cohesive framework for transformation.
Since launching her YouTube platform, Tarot with Arhinna, in 2016, she has cultivated a loyal and engaged community drawn to her clarity, authenticity, and her ability to translate complex emotional and spiritual experiences into accessible, empowering guidance. What started with a deck of tarot cards has expanded over the years, and she has learned to integrate different layers in her messages.
Arhinna’s work honors both psychological and spiritual, offering clients a space where insight meets intuition and healing becomes both practical and expansive. Her perspective has been recognized by major publications, including Oprah Daily (October 2021) and Cosmopolitan (2020), highlighting her growing influence in the celebration of ancestral wisdom and cultural practices.
At the core of her work is a deep commitment: to help individuals reconnect with their inner wisdom, align with their purpose, and embody their power with clarity, confidence, and intention.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has been meaningful, though not without its challenges. My journey began with a deep need to understand and process the trauma I experienced during a three-year domestic violence relationship. During that time, I searched for ways to make sense of what I had been through and to begin healing. I wanted to re -story my life, from victim to survivor!

That search led me inward. I immersed myself in spirituality, exploring signs, synchronicities, and deeper layers of meaning. Through that process, I was guided by the work of Carl Jung and my aunt. I discovered tarot. It became a powerful tool that allowed me to redirect my energy, not only toward healing but toward transformation.

What began as a personal path to process trauma gradually evolved into a calling to support others. Along the way, I also had to navigate an entirely different learning curve—understanding how to use social media, share my voice, and build a platform to reach people.

Even now, I continue to grow in that space. Balancing this work while raising my two beautiful daughters as a single mother and maintaining a full-time career has required resilience, adaptability, and faith. But each step has deepened my purpose and strengthened my commitment to helping others heal, evolve, and find meaning within their own journeys.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am known for my powerful blend of intuitive insight and therapeutic approach. At the heart of my work is a deep love for Narrative Therapy, which shapes the way I approach every reading. Developed by Michael White and David Epston, Narrative Therapy is a collaborative approach that separates the person from the problem, creating a space for individuals to externalize their experiences and release shame.
In my sessions, this framework allows clients to “re-story” their lives, shifting from feeling defined by their challenges to recognizing their own agency and power. This is where a Tarot reading becomes more than insight; it becomes a life coaching moment. I don’t simply read cards; I use them as tools for self-awareness, helping clients uncover patterns in love, personal growth, and life transitions.
My approach is also deeply influenced by the work of Carl Jung, particularly in exploring themes such as shadow work, projection, and personal evolution. By blending these frameworks, I offer a client experience that is both intuitive and psychological, bridging insight with meaningful transformation.
At my core, I am committed to helping people feel seen, understood, and empowered to evolve.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory would be playing with Barbies and Cabbage Patch dolls. My mom would say I did it for hours, and she loved to hear that I even made voices for all the dolls. This was what I loved to do whenever I had free time.
