Hidden Gems: Meet Jojo Trumbly of The NET Level Up Networking

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jojo Trumbly.

Hi Jojo, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My path wasn’t linear. I actually pivoted a few times to get here.

I started out in the arts as an actor and choreographer, and then in 2016 I shifted into teaching. From there, I stepped in to help grow our family HVAC business, Affordable Air Repair, and that’s really where I found my lane in marketing, relationships, and building systems.

Through that, I got involved in networking and quickly realized there was a gap. People wanted real relationships and real growth, not just surface-level connections. That’s what led me to start The NET Level Up Networking.

Now I get to build businesses, build people, and build community. I really love what I get to do.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. There have been a lot of learning curves along the way.

One of the biggest challenges was stepping into an industry I didn’t originally come from and having to earn trust quickly, both with customers and within the business. At the same time, building something like The NET from the ground up came with its own challenges, including figuring out structure, leadership, and how to grow in a way that actually lasts.

I have also had to learn a lot about boundaries, time management, and not trying to do everything myself.

Every challenge pushed me to grow, and I would not change that part of the journey.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about The NET Level Up Networking?
The NET Level Up Networking is a community of business owners and professionals who are serious about building real relationships, growing their businesses, and giving back to the community.

What makes us different is that we are not just focused on referrals. We are focused on people. We build structure, accountability, and consistency into what we do, but at the core of it, it is about showing up for each other and creating genuine connections that actually turn into growth.

We specialize in helping business owners who are ready to be intentional. The ones who do not want to sit on the sidelines. They want to build, they want to grow, and they want to serve.

Brand wise, I am most proud of the culture we have created. It is welcoming, it is driven, and it holds a standard. People feel supported, but they are also challenged to level up.

What I would want readers to know is that The NET is not just another networking group. It is a place where you can plug into a community, build real relationships, and create opportunities that actually move your business forward.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
The biggest thing I’ve learned is that the right rooms matter. You have to put yourself around people who are already where you want to go. Mentorship doesn’t always have to be formal. Some of the best guidance comes from consistently showing up, asking good questions, and actually applying what you learn.

With networking, what has worked for me is consistency and intention. Build real relationships, focus on giving value, and the growth will follow.
