Community Highlights: Meet Priscilla Gil of The Hair and Brow Bar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Priscilla Gil.

Hi Priscilla , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
From doing brows in middle school to owning a top rated business in Conroe, Texas.
My focus is far more than just brows. I have designed THE HAIR AND BROW BAR to be a modern self-care destination where beauty, wellness, and luxury align. We specialize in customized hair and brow services designed to enhance your natural features while prioritizing the health of your hair, skin, and body. Every experience is tailored—never rushed, and definitely never one-size-fits-all.

What makes us different is our commitment to true self-care. We focus on clean, thoughtful products, low-maintenance beauty solutions, and services that go beyond appearance—supporting your wellness, confidence and nervous system.
From restorative brow therapy to precision hair services, every detail is designed to create a space that feels elevated, calming, and genuinely caring.

At THE HAIR AND BROW BAR, we don’t follow trends—we focus on healthy and intentional services and a guest experience that feels as good as it looks.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There’s a huge gap between health and beauty standards in the us.

Educating our guest has been the most critical aspect and the biggest challenge. We are simply not educated on the consequences of years of abuse to our hair skin and brows.

True wellbeing is about our overall health and wellbeing. True health starts with a regulated nervous system.
Acne, psoriasis, thinning hair,
Patchy brow are all symptoms of a dis regulated nervous system. It’s difficult to explain this when most people that have never even considered our approach.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was always interested in beauty. As I got old I realized it was more about wellness than beauty.

Growing up influenced by the Mexican culture there was always a natural remedy for everything you can think of including glowy skin, thicker hair etc a
Lot of the remedies I use for our guest were pass down from the older women in my family.
