Rising Stars: Meet Jonathan Glover of National

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Glover.

Jonathan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I grew up in Houston, Texas alongside four brothers, without a father in the home. Growing up, I saw many people around me lacking guidance, structure, and direction. A lot of talented people had big dreams but never had the support or systems to help them build something real for themselves.

After losing my brother Xavier “Zoo” Glover to gun violence in 2012, my perspective on life changed deeply. I realized I wanted to create something bigger than myself something that could help people feel seen, valued, and empowered to lead. That became the foundation behind everything I do today.

I started Zoomania Studios because I saw too many people being misled or taken advantage of while trying to build their brands and businesses. I wanted to create a trustworthy space where creatives, entrepreneurs, and young leaders could grow with real guidance, structure, and opportunity.

Today, I am the founder and creative director of Zoomania World and the Xavier Zoomania Glover Foundation, where we focus on leadership, entrepreneurship, mentorship, sports programs, and community impact. Through branding, events, youth programs, and creative projects, my mission is to help turn overlooked people into leaders walking in purpose.

Everything I build is rooted in legacy, leadership, and creating opportunities for the next generation.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. A lot of my biggest struggles came from financial barriers and trying to grow while separating myself from certain environments, people, places, and habits that weren’t helping me become who I needed to be. That part alone was hard because sometimes you outgrow people before you fully grow into your vision.

I’ve also dealt with bad business partnerships, people stealing from me, checks being taken from the foundation, people not handling business the right way, and just a lot of disappointment from trusting the wrong people. That caused a lot of frustration because when you really care about helping people and building something bigger than yourself, it hits different when people take advantage of that.

I’ve had businesses and ideas fail too. There were times I tried things that didn’t work out, lost money, doubted myself, and felt stuck trying to figure everything out on my own. But honestly, all of it taught me lessons about discipline, structure, leadership, and being careful about who I allow around me.

At the end of the day, those struggles made me stronger and pushed me to build something real not just for myself, but for people coming from similar situations who need guidance, opportunity, and belief in themselves.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a creative director, entrepreneur, and founder of Zoomania World, Zoomania Studios, and the Xavier Zoomania Glover Foundation. I specialize in branding, marketing, leadership, community events, and helping people turn ideas into real businesses and opportunities.

What I’m most known for is bringing people together, creating opportunities, and building brands with purpose. I’ve always been naturally creative, and over time I turned that creativity into a way to help others grow, especially young entrepreneurs and people from difficult environments.

What I’m most proud of is taking my struggles and turning them into something positive that can inspire and help others. I think what sets me apart is that I care about impact just as much as success, and everything I build is rooted in leadership, creativity, and legacy.
