Meet Josseline Peralta of National

Today we’d like to introduce you to Josseline Peralta.

Hi Josseline, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My business, Luna Cosmica Healing, started strictly online, where I began offering tarot readings, candle work, cleansings, and spiritual guidance & support. My journey started even before pre-COVID, at a time where I honestly felt lost and disconnected from myself. I wasn’t genuinely happy, I was just trying to understand life and my emotions while figuring out who I was becoming.

I grew up experiencing a lot early on—losing my father at 9 to cancer and being raised by a strong single immigrant mother who taught me how to survive in her own way. Those experiences shaped me deeply from a young age, especially in how I learned to hold emotions, adapt, and keep going through life.

A big turning point for me was becoming a mother. My son changed everything. I didn’t want him to grow up carrying the emotional patterns, wounds, or generational cycles that I had carried. I remember feeling a deep responsibility to do my part—not just for me, but for him—so he wouldn’t inherit what was never healed.

Before I ever worked with others, I was actually on the receiving side of spiritual work. I used to get readings myself, trying to find answers outside of me. At the same time, I began exploring and practicing tarot and candle work online, which was my first real introduction into spirituality. But even then, I realized I wasn’t just looking for spirituality—I was looking for healing. Real healing. Emotional, energetic, and ancestral healing that could actually change how I felt and lived.

When COVID happened and everything slowed down, it became a major turning point that forced me inward. That space pushed me deeper into myself, into my emotions, and into the healing work I had been avoiding.

Over time, I also began walking/working with plant allies, which I call plancestors, as part of my own healing journey. For the past three years, I’ve been serving Hapé (Rapé), a traditional Amazonian plant medicine used for grounding, energetic clearing, and emotional release. Alongside this, I’ve held women’s circles and supported WOMBan—women who are looking for emotional support, guidance, or simply someone to hold space for them.

My community first started on Facebook, and now most of my “amiguis” are on TikTok, where I go live and connect with people in real time. Just this past year, I started offering in-person sessions in Houston as well. Growing my local community here is one of my biggest goals now, while I continue expanding what Luna Cosmica Healing is becoming.

I originally started under the name Lazuli Starseed, but as I grew, I rebranded into Luna Cosmica Healing because I wanted it to go deeper than spirituality alone. I didn’t just want readings or spiritual tools—I wanted healing. And I wanted to create a space that helps others heal the same way I had to start healing myself.

At the core of everything I do, it’s still that: healing myself so I don’t pass it on, and helping others do the same.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. It’s been a real struggle, not only spiritually but emotionally as well. There were times I dealt with imposter syndrome, especially in the beginning. I was very hard on myself because I had the words, the knowledge, and guidance coming through my spiritual work and team, and I could show up for others with clarity—but behind the scenes I was still figuring out my own life.

At first, that created a lot of pressure. I questioned myself because things in my personal life weren’t exactly how I wanted them to be, and I felt like I had to be “fully together” in order to guide others. Over time, I realized that wasn’t the point. My work isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being authentic and transparent while still being human and in process.

I’ve had to let go of and heal many versions of myself, and learn to give myself grace through that process. I also had to find balance—because at the beginning I would constantly prioritize others and being there for everyone else, and forget about myself in the mix. Learning to show up for myself too has been a big part of my growth, both personally and in my spiritual path.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I work in the spiritual and healing space through my business, offering both online and in-person services based in Houston. My work includes tarot and intuitive readings, spiritual and life coaching, ThetaHealing, candle work, spiritual cleansings, workshops, WOMBan circles, and plancestor (plant medicine) connection facilitation. I also guide people through womb healing, self-love practices, and energetic clearing rituals that support emotional and spiritual balance.

What I specialize in is helping people reconnect with themselves on a deeper emotional, spiritual, and energetic level. My work often focuses on healing patterns connected to self-worth, trauma, ancestral wounds, and spiritual disconnection. I combine intuitive guidance with grounded support so people can actually integrate what they receive into their real lives.

What I’m most known for is creating a safe, honest, and human approach to spiritual work. I don’t separate healing from real life—I walk through my own process openly, which allows others to feel seen in theirs.

What I’m most proud of is expanding my work from being fully online to now also offering in-person sessions in Houston. I’m still growing my local community, and that process has been very intentional for me because I value authenticity and organic connection over rushing expansion.

What sets me apart is that my work is deeply rooted in lived experience, emotional transparency, and spiritual practice that is both intuitive, practical, & traditional. I don’t just guide people through healing—I actively continue my own, which allows me to hold space in a grounded, relatable, and compassionate way.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
At the beginning, the first few years of my journey, I did a lot of things on my own and had to figure this path out largely by myself. That part of the process was very challenging at times. There were moments of doubt, uncertainty, and feeling like I was navigating without much guidance, but it also strengthened my independence and deepened my trust in my own intuition.

As I continued expanding my healing journey, I began to naturally connect with people who played meaningful roles in my growth.

One of them is Leticia Castro (@lacarparojadearaucaria), whom I met through her círculos de mujeres (women’s circles). I first attended one of her circles during a time in my life when I was seeking deeper womb healing, self-connection, and emotional release. From there, she became an important part of my journey. She trusted me, supported me, and invited me to walk alongside her in ceremony and women circle spaces. Her presence helped me deepen my spiritual work and trust myself more fully as I expanded.

Another important person in my journey is Pilar Lyutfalieva (@helloitspilar), whom I met online over five years ago and who is based in California. She was one of the first people to introduce me to ThetaHealing and supported me deeply through my own healing process. Over time, she became not only a guide in that part of my journey but also someone I consider like a sister. Her support played a very important role in my personal transformation and healing.

I also want to honor my mother, who has been one of my biggest supporters throughout this journey. She opened her home to me and allowed me to create an in-home office space where I can serve my small local community here in Houston. Beyond that, this path has also allowed our relationship to blossom into something much healthier, deeper, and more understanding. As I have healed and grown through my own process, she has also healed alongside me in her own way. Our connection has transformed over time into one rooted in mutual support, respect, and love, and I’m very grateful and blessed for that.

Through my work, I’ve also built a beautiful community of clients, many of whom have become long-term supporters and even close friends. I’m deeply grateful for the trust people place in me and for allowing me to be part of their healing and spiritual journeys.

Overall, while I started this path feeling very alone in it, over time it has grown into something supported by meaningful relationships, community, and deep mutual trust.
