I started at the age of 5 with my love for Barbies. I loved perfecting their hair, dressing them up, and decorating their homes. Honestly, I rarely even got to play with them because I spent so much time making sure everything was perfect.
My mom had a friend named Rhonda who embodied that same energy, and I was blessed to experience her creativity firsthand. Whenever I went to her house, she always painted my nails so perfectly, and everything around her reflected the beauty, detail, and care I imagined for my Barbies.
Those early experiences inspired my passion for beauty, creativity, and design. Over time, that passion evolved into my work in hair, nails, and creating confidence through beauty and self-expression.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This has not been a smooth road, but honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. The character development that comes with struggle, having a vision, building my dream, and executing my plans has shaped me into the woman I am today.
There were times I felt overwhelmed, misunderstood, exhausted, and unsure of how everything would come together, but every obstacle taught me resilience, discipline, patience, and faith.
Being creative is not always easy when life is demanding so much from you, but I’ve learned how important it is to continue creating even through difficult seasons. Every challenge made me stronger, wiser, and more intentional about the life and legacy I’m building.

Don’t let fear, self-doubt, or other people’s opinions stop you from building the life you envision for yourself. A lot of people wait until everything is perfect to begin, but growth really comes from learning as you go.
I would also tell anyone starting out to trust their creativity, stay consistent, and remember that every successful person started as a beginner. Sometimes your biggest blessing is simply having the courage to keep going.
