Today we’d like to introduce you to Heather Cash.
Hi Heather, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I feel like I’ve lived a lot of different lives before becoming the woman I am today. I grew up without much and lost my father in a motorcycle accident when I was 15, which completely changed the trajectory of my life. For years after that, I coped in unhealthy ways and found myself surrounded by the wrong environments, relationships, and influences, without really having guidance, mentorship, or the tools to process emotions in a healthy way. Everything I’ve built both personally and professionally, came from having to rebuild myself from the ground up and learn through experience. That journey ultimately shaped the way I approach business, skincare, and life today: intentionally, deeply, and with a genuine desire to help people feel better about themselves from the inside out.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not. I think a lot of my journey has been learning everything the hard way. I spent years navigating grief, unhealthy coping mechanisms, toxic environments, and relationships that were not aligned with who I was meant to become. I also built my business without really having mentorship or a blueprint to follow, so a lot of it came through trial, error, and rebuilding myself over and over again.
There were struggles personally, but also professionally. As my business grew, I went through seasons of trying to expand too quickly, learning hard lessons about leadership, and realizing that bigger does not always mean better. I had to learn how to protect my standards, trust my instincts, and build something that actually felt aligned instead of chasing what success was supposed to look like from the outside. None of it has been a smooth road, but every difficult season forced me to become more intentional, self-aware, and grounded in who I am and what I want to create.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Aggieland Aesthetics was built around the idea that skincare should be intentional, educational, and results-driven. Not just relaxing. I specialize in corrective skincare, with a strong focus on skin barrier health, inflammation, acne, pigmentation, and long-term skin function. What really sets us apart is that we do not believe in one-size-fits-all treatments or chasing quick fixes. Every treatment, regimen, and plan is completely customized to the individual and rooted in understanding what is actually happening within the skin.
One of the things I’m most known for is creating “The Skin Reset,” which is the foundational experience for every new client. It’s more than just a facial. It’s a full skin analysis, treatment, consultation, and education session designed to teach clients how to properly care for their skin at home, because about 80% of skin results come from daily habits and homecare. I wanted to create something that bridged the gap between professional treatments and real-life lifestyle change.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud that Aggieland Aesthetics has grown largely through trust, education, and word of mouth. I’ve worked really hard to create an environment where people feel genuinely seen, understood, and guided instead of sold to. I think people today are overwhelmed by trends, influencers, and misinformation, and my goal has always been to bring intention and honesty back into skincare while still delivering real, transformative results.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I think both good and bad luck have shaped my life in different ways. Losing my father at a young age and a lot of the struggles that followed felt like incredibly unfair cards to be dealt, and there were definitely seasons of my life where I felt like I was constantly trying to survive or find my footing. But looking back now, even a lot of the painful experiences ended up shaping the resilience, perspective, and self-awareness I carry today.
As far as business goes, I don’t think what I’ve built came from luck as much as consistency, intuition, and being willing to rebuild when something no longer felt aligned. At the same time, I do feel lucky to have built a business rooted in trust and connection, and to have clients who have supported me largely through word of mouth over the years. I’m also a huge believer in energy, and I believe when you move through life and business with pure intentions, authenticity, and genuine care for people, that energy eventually comes back to you. I think sometimes what people call “luck” is really the result of continuing to show up with the right intentions long enough for the right opportunities and people to eventually find you.
