Canada Profi Lubricants Inc. (Profi Lube) started with a vision to build a reliable and long-term distribution business focused on premium automotive and industrial lubricants. With my background in engineering, international business, and operations management, I saw an opportunity in the North American market for high-quality European lubricant brands that could compete on both quality and value.
Over the years, we established strong partnerships with manufacturers in Germany, Belgium, and other international markets, allowing us to become an exclusive distributor for brands such as PROFICAR, LUBPLUS, and WOLF Lubricants in different regions. We began by building our customer base in Canada, focusing on automotive workshops, fleet operators, wholesalers, and industrial clients. Through consistency, customer service, and reliable supply, we gradually expanded our operations across Toronto, Montreal, and later into the United States through Houston, Texas.
Like many growing businesses, our journey came with challenges, from supply chain disruptions and international shipping volatility to the complexities of expanding operations across borders. However, those experiences also strengthened our systems, relationships, and long-term vision.
Today, Canada Profi Lubricants Inc. continues to grow as a North American distributor of premium lubricants, coolants, antifreeze, DEF, and specialty automotive fluids.
Our focus remains the same: building long-term partnerships, offering dependable products at competitive pricing, and creating a scalable business that serves both the automotive and industrial sectors across Canada and the U.S.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not been a completely smooth road. Like many businesses involved in international trade and distribution, we faced a variety of challenges along the way.
One of the biggest obstacles has been global supply chain instability. Shipping costs, container availability, port delays, and geopolitical events have all had direct impacts on our operations and planning. Since we work closely with international manufacturers and import products into North America, fluctuations in freight costs and delivery timelines required us to constantly adapt and problem-solve.
Another challenge was building trust in a highly competitive industry. Entering the lubricant market meant competing against well-established global brands and large distributors. In the beginning, we had to work very hard to earn the confidence of workshops, fleets, and industrial clients by consistently delivering quality products, reliable service, and honest business relationships.
Expanding into the U.S. market also came with its own learning curve, from regulatory requirements and logistics to establishing warehousing, sales operations, and local partnerships in Texas. Growth always comes with pressure, especially when balancing cash flow, inventory management, and scaling operations at the same time.
That said, every challenge taught us valuable lessons. It forced us to become more resilient, more efficient, and more strategic in how we operate. Looking back, those obstacles played a major role in shaping the company into what it is today.

Profi Lube (Canada Profi Lubricants Inc.) is a North American distributor of premium automotive, commercial vehicle, and industrial lubricants, coolants, antifreeze, DEF, and specialty fluids. We supply high-quality European lubricant brands to automotive workshops, fleet operators, wholesalers, and industrial clients across Canada and the United States.

We are proud of growing the business organically through trust, consistency, and word-of-mouth. Starting from local operations in Canada, we expanded into multiple markets including Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City and Houston, Texas, while continuing to adapt to industry challenges and global supply chain changes.
At the core of our company is a simple philosophy: provide dependable products, competitive pricing, and long-term value to our customers.
How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happiest is building something meaningful, both in business and in life. Seeing a company grow from an idea into a real operation with customers, partnerships, and a team depending on it is very rewarding to me.
I also value resilience and progress. A lot of challenges in business and life teach you patience, discipline, and perspective, and I genuinely enjoy seeing hard work turn into results over time.
Outside of business, spending quality time with family, training at the gym, and mentoring or helping people around me also bring me happiness.
For me, happiness comes from growth, purpose, and having good people around you while building something long term.
