Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I found boating and dancing very relaxing, good for health. brain, mind and soul. As a child and teenager, I always was surrounded by water, boating and I loved music and dancing. I had the opportunity to do leisure boating but was too shy to dance and too afraid to learn to dance. Then as God would gift me, I met three wonderful dance teachers in Houston, Beaumont and Lake Charles and I began to dance and enjoy. I competed in country western dance competitions. I started teaching Latin, Country, Swing, Wedding Dance lessons in Houston, Baytown, Deer Park, Laport and since 2017 in Huffman – NE Houston. This location has a canal in my backyard connecting to Lake Houston and we built a beautiful 800 sq.ft dance studio. We pick up boaters from Waterside marina and take them for 2-3 hours boating on the beautiful Lake Houston. We also teach dance lessons at our private and relaxing dance studio. Nobody is providing our unique, custom and private dancing and boating services in NE Houston area. We want to spread the joy and contribute to the community. Dancing is great for health, relationships, making new friends and keeping romance alive in a marriage. Boating on Lake Houston is so relaxing, we take boaters in areas that feel like Branson MO or the Amazon Jungle. We feel blessed and are grateful to God. Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are always challenges and hurdles and ours were how to market and get a continuous supply of customers. Dancing and boating are optional activities and costs and when the economy is bad or people are tight with money, things like dancing and boating get chopped immediately. So, we have to keep our prices optimal so that we can make these wonderful hobbies attractive and affordable even in difficult financial times.

We conduct only quality private lessons and private party group lessons. Based on our experience we have seen and learnt that quality private dance lessons on a one-on-one basis are the most effective, most productive, most relaxing and stress-free while learning and enjoying the experience. At other dance studios, you may be one out of many students and then as dance partners get rotated, the experience can be a little uneasy as you are partnered with new people, whose dance level and abilities may be different. With our Rule-Based Dance method, we teach you eight simple, easy-to-understand dance rule. Once you learn and understand these eight rules, you will be amazed how easy it is for you to learn to dance. We have had students that completed several months of dance lessons at other studios and then when we exposed them to our Rule-Base Dance Technique, they learned more in one lesson compared to what they had learned in more than six months at other dance studios.
