Exploring Life & Business with Carl Chambers of Wagon springs Ranch

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carl Chambers.

Hi Carl, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We bought our ranch in 2018 with the hope of raising our children in a small community with lots of space for them to explore and have adventures. Our initial goal was to grow hay, and run cattle or bison. But unfortunately, that does not help pay the bills. In 2020 we decided to open our wedding venue in hopes of making our working ranch a destination wedding spot. God has truly blessed us! We continue to grow, and get the chance to raise some of the most beautiful children. There’s nothing quite like living on a buffalo ranch, that can take you back in time…

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We opened in January 2020, right before Covid hit in the world changed. We now get a chance to look at it as a blessing… As God taught us a lot that year. The God carried us through in each year has been better than the last.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Wagon springs Ranch?
We are a wedding venue set in the Texas Hill country. Our wedding venue sits on our 280+ acre working Bison ranch… we love, offering, affordable weddings to our guest with our beautiful amenities and views!

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
God is in control. And he has a much better plan for you than you could ever imagine for yourself.
