Today we’d like to introduce you to Novi Jones.
Hi Novi, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m Novi Jones, founder of 201 Lofthaus, two premium content studios based in Houston.
I didn’t set out to build content studios. I was trying to solve a problem I was experiencing myself.
While building my own brand and working alongside other entrepreneurs and creatives, I kept noticing the same pattern: incredibly talented people were still being overlooked online. Not because their work was not good enough, but because their content did not reflect the level they operated at in real life.
The issue usually was not talent. It was production.
The lighting. The space. The tools. The pressure of trying to create professional content while also running a business.
I knew that feeling personally, and so did so many other entrepreneurs around me.
So I built the solution.
What started as one studio space has grown into two premium studios designed to help entrepreneurs, creators, and professionals create content that looks as premium as the brand they are building.
Today, we support photography, podcasts, video production, online courses, branding shoots, and business content, all within spaces intentionally designed to make professional content creation feel easier, more elevated, and less overwhelming.
My background in leadership and operations shaped a lot of how we built the business. I have always loved both strategy and creativity, and 201 Lofthaus was built at the intersection of those two worlds.
We are not just renting studio space. We are helping people become visible in a way that creates real opportunities for their business and brand.
Because most of the time, being overlooked is not a talent problem. It is a tools problem. And that is exactly why I built 201 Lofthaus.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not. I think one of the biggest misconceptions people have when they see a business grow is that it happened quickly or smoothly behind the scenes. In reality, a lot of this journey has been built in real time through trial, error, problem-solving, and learning how to adapt quickly.
One of the biggest challenges was building a business that sits at the intersection of creativity and operations. Creative businesses often look exciting from the outside, but there’s a huge amount of systems, customer experience, logistics, marketing, team management, and financial decision-making happening behind the scenes every single day.
Another challenge was learning how to scale while still wearing multiple hats. In the beginning, I was doing everything myself, from marketing and sales to client communication, studio setup, strategy, and execution. As the business grew, I had to learn how to delegate, build systems, trust a team, and shift from simply creating to actually leading a company.
There’s also a personal side to entrepreneurship people don’t talk about enough. There are seasons where you’re building in real time, trying to create consistency, make smart decisions, and figure things out while still showing up publicly every day. I think a lot of entrepreneurs live in that space longer than people realize.
Building a business centered around visibility and content creation also came with its own challenges because, for a long time, many people viewed content as optional or secondary. But I believed entrepreneurs needed more than just a pretty space. They needed tools, support, and an environment that helped them show up professionally and consistently online.
Those experiences shaped how I lead, how I build systems, and how I support other entrepreneurs who are navigating growth and visibility at the same time.
At every stage, the challenges pushed me to become more strategic, more resilient, and more intentional about the kind of company, conversations, and impact we’re still building today.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
201 Lofthaus was built for entrepreneurs, creators, and professionals who understand that how you present your brand online matters.
Today, we operate two premium content studios in Houston, each designed for a different style of content creation. One is our Lifestyle Haus, designed for branding, campaign, and editorial style content with a warm, elevated atmosphere that feels like home. The other is our pre lit production studio designed for podcasts, interviews, online education, founder led content, and professional business media with production support built into the experience.
What sets us apart is that we designed the entire experience around helping people create professional content more consistently and with less friction. We are not just providing a beautiful backdrop. We are creating an environment that helps people show up at the level they want to be known for.
A lot of business owners already have the expertise, ideas, and vision. What they often lack is the production environment and support system to turn that into content that feels clear, professional, and aligned with the brand they are building.
That is why every part of the experience is intentional, from the lighting and layout to the versatility of the spaces and the overall client experience.
We support everything from branding shoots and product campaigns to podcasts, educational content, business media, and authority driven video content. Over time, the brand has evolved into more than just studio rentals. It has become a trusted creative environment where entrepreneurs come to build visibility, confidence, and momentum around their work.
What I am most proud of is that clients do not just leave with content. They leave feeling more confident in how they show up and communicate their value online.
We are not just renting studio space. We are helping people become visible in a way that creates real opportunities for their business and brand.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I think we’re moving into a time where content is no longer optional for businesses. It’s becoming part of the infrastructure of how people build trust, authority, and opportunities.
Over the next 5–10 years, I believe we’ll continue seeing a major shift toward founder-led brands, educational content, podcasts, video-first marketing, and more personality-driven businesses. People want connection now. They want to hear directly from the founder, understand the story behind the brand, and feel like they know who they’re buying from.
At the same time, AI and technology are going to make content creation faster and more accessible than ever. But I actually think that will make authenticity, strategy, and quality even more important. When everyone can technically create content, the businesses that stand out will be the ones with clarity, consistency, and a strong point of view.
I also think we’ll see a shift away from overly curated content toward content that still feels professional, but more human and intentional. Audiences are becoming smarter. They can tell when something is performative versus genuinely valuable.
From a production standpoint, I think entrepreneurs will continue looking for more streamlined, turnkey solutions. Business owners don’t want to spend all their time figuring out lighting, editing, production, or complicated tech setups. They want environments and systems that make it easier to consistently create high-quality content without adding more overwhelm to their plate.
That’s a big part of where I see 201 Lofthaus continuing to evolve as well. Not just as a studio space, but as a visibility ecosystem that helps entrepreneurs create, communicate, and show up more consistently in a rapidly changing digital world.
At the core of it all, I think visibility will continue to become one of the most valuable business assets a person can build.
