Daily Inspiration: Meet Brea Weatherall

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brea Weatherall.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
The Beauty Avenue officially began in 2023, but the journey started years before that. I spent about two and a half years working in a shared salon space, building my clientele, learning the business, and staying committed to my vision. While I was six months pregnant, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life. I saved my money, took a leap of faith, and opened my very first salon suite.

It wasn’t easy, but I knew I had to prioritize what mattered most and stay disciplined. Through dedication, consistency, and a lot of faith, I successfully completed my first lease term and continued growing into my second. As my business evolved, so did my vision.

The Beauty Avenue was created to be more than just a salon it was built to be a place where beauty professionals can grow their businesses, serve their clients with excellence, and be part of a supportive community. Looking back, every challenge prepared me for where I am today, and I’m incredibly grateful for the journey. It’s proof that sometimes the biggest blessings come after taking the biggest leap of faith.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not. Entrepreneurship has come with its fair share of challenges. One of the hardest seasons I faced was going from having a fully occupied salon to losing almost all of my tenants at the same time. It was discouraging, and suddenly I found myself responsible for carrying two leases while trying to rebuild.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a makeup artist who specializes in bridal makeup and everyday glam. I’m known for my transformations, but my goal has never been to change someone’s face it’s to enhance what’s already there and bring out their confidence.

What I’m most proud of is my clients’ reactions. There’s nothing like seeing a client look in the mirror and become overwhelmed with emotion sometimes even shedding a tear because they’re so amazed by the work that’s been done. Those are the moments I live for.

What sets me apart is that I truly use my gift as my ministry. I’m intentional with every face that sits in my chair because I know makeup is bigger than makeup. It’s about making women feel seen, confident, and beautiful. I want every client to leave knowing they were cared for, not just as a customer, but as a person.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Honestly, devotionals and sermons have been some of the biggest resources in my life. They keep me grounded, remind me of who I am, help me stay rooted in my purpose, and encourage me to keep going both in business and in life.
