Hi Ronald , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey started with a passion for music and storytelling. From an early age, music became my outlet a way to express emotions, experiences, and ambitions that couldn’t always be explained with words. I started writing and recording independently, dedicating myself to perfecting my craft and developing a sound that blends melodic R&B with hip-hop influences.
Like many artists, the path hasn’t been easy. There were challenges, setbacks, and moments that tested my belief in myself, but those experiences helped shape both the artist and person I am today. Every obstacle became motivation to keep pushing forward and continue evolving creatively.
Through consistency, growth, and a clear vision, I’ve been able to build the Cloudnine brand and take my music to a larger audience. Today, I’m proud to be working with Universal Music Group while continuing to release music that reflects my journey, including projects like Echoes in the Smoke. My goal has always been to create timeless music that people can connect with, whether they’re celebrating their highs or navigating life’s challenges.
While I’m grateful for everything I’ve accomplished so far, I still feel like I’m at the beginning of something much bigger. I’m focused on continuing to grow as an artist, reaching new audiences around the world, and leaving a lasting impact through my music.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When your dreams are this big, it’s never going to be easy to accomplish them. There have been setbacks, obstacles, people who doubted the vision, and moments where things didn’t happen as quickly as I wanted them to. But I’ve learned that every challenge is part of the journey.
The music industry is highly competitive, and building something meaningful takes patience, consistency, and belief in yourself even when others don’t see the bigger picture yet. Every struggle has taught me something valuable and helped me grow as both an artist and a person.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a recording artist and songwriter who specializes in blending melodic R&B with hip-hop to create music that connects on a real level. I’m known for my versatility, storytelling, and ability to turn life experiences into records people can feel.
What I’m most proud of is watching my dreams unfold before my eyes from getting my songs finally charted on the top 10, getting major playlist placements, performing on big stages and accomplishing things I could only imagine as a kid. I have more accomplishments coming this is just the beginning
What sets me apart is that I stay true to who I am. I don’t chase trends; I create from real experiences, and that’s what makes the music resonate.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something that might surprise people is that despite the confidence they see on stage or online, I’m actually a deep thinker. A lot of my best ideas come from spending time alone, reflecting on life, and observing the world around me. The music is only part of who I am behind the scenes, I’m constantly planning, creating, and thinking about the bigger picture.
