Houston’s Women’s Brunch Collective was born out of a desire to create genuine connections among women. Like many women in their 40s and beyond, I realized that building meaningful friendships and finding like-minded women becomes more challenging as we get older. Between careers, family responsibilities, and busy schedules, many women are looking for community but don’t always know where to find it.
As a travel entrepreneur and community builder, I have always loved creating experiences that bring people together. What started as a simple idea to connect women over brunch has evolved into a thriving community of professional women who enjoy networking, personal growth, upscale experiences, and travel.
Today, Houston’s Women’s Brunch Collective brings together women from diverse backgrounds who share a common desire to build friendships, support one another, experience new things, and enjoy life to the fullest. From elegant dinners and brunches to golf outings, luxury experiences, and group travel, we are creating a space where women can truly connect and thrive.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like any growing community, the journey has come with its challenges. Building a brand from the ground up requires consistency, patience, and a clear vision. One of the biggest challenges has been creating a community that attracts women who are genuinely interested in building relationships and participating in experiences rather than simply joining another online group.
Another challenge has been balancing growth while maintaining the quality and culture of the community. As the group has expanded, it has become increasingly important to ensure that members feel welcomed, valued, and connected.
There have also been challenges that come with organizing events, coordinating partnerships, and creating memorable experiences. However, every obstacle has helped strengthen the brand and reinforced the importance of our mission. Seeing women form friendships, support each other’s businesses, travel together, and build lasting connections makes every challenge worthwhile.
