Hi Avante, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always loved aviation, but my journey hasn’t been a straight path. Working in the airline industry inspired me to pursue becoming a pilot, and while flight training has come with its share of challenges, it’s also taught me resilience.
Those experiences led me to create Soar with Avante Marie, a podcast where I have honest conversations with pilots and aviation professionals to inspire and educate others. I’m still working toward my pilot’s license, and I’m passionate about showing that success isn’t about having a perfect journey it’s about continuing to move forward.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all. Like many aspiring pilots, I’ve faced financial challenges, had to switch flight schools, and experienced moments where I questioned whether I’d reach my goal. Those setbacks tested my confidence, but they also made me more resilient. Looking back, every challenge has taught me something valuable, and they’ve given me a platform to help others navigate similar obstacles with more confidence and better information.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an aviation entrepreneur, content creator, and podcast host passionate about creating opportunities and making aviation more accessible. Through Soar with Avante Marie, I highlight the stories of pilots, aerospace professionals, and aviation leaders while creating a space for education, inspiration, and connection within the industry.
I’m most proud of building a platform that bridges the gap between aviation professionals and people who are curious about entering the industry. What sets me apart is my ability to tell authentic stories and approach aviation from a different perspective not just from the cockpit, but from the business, community, and entrepreneurial side of the industry. My goal is to continue creating solutions, opportunities, and conversations that help move aviation forward.
