Hi Angelique, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Stylish Floral Design Co. officially started in 2023. This is a rebrand from the floral and decor design business I started in 2016. This company represents new beginnings and elevation. In life, we start many things, but you have to know when it is time to make a shift. You have to be willing to step out on faith and trust that God will guide you in the right direction. That is what occurred with Stylish Floral Design Co.
I did not have all of the answers, but I knew I could do all things through Christ who strengthens me. My strong work ethic and design abilities have allowed me to produce numerous weddings and events; including landing my work in Vogue online publications.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I believe the main obstacle in any business is ensuring you are continuing to grow. As a service based business, I always want to provide high quality customer service. We are called to help one another; to serve one another. 1 Peter 4:10 states, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others.”
Although I have not struggled in this area, I am always mindful of how I handle myself and my business as we continue to work with clients from all over the world while producing larger and more extravagant weddings and events. The goal is always to be better after each event.

Our team handles all design elements such as textile selections, installation plus centerpiece placements, floor plan creation, and more while determining the best logistics to perform the technical execution. While I am the owner and Creative Director, every individual on the team brings their own gifts and talents which only enhances the overall experience our clients have with Stylish Floral Design Co.

Houston is such a diverse city and there are endless opportunities for any business. I have worked with a wide variety of corporations, organizations and ethnicities. We are in the process of expanding to the Boston area and I am excited to see what the city has to offer.
