Today we’d like to introduce you to Timothy (Timsofunny) Oliver.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always been intrigued by comedy . Since I was a young kid I would always be a class clown . I learned at a young age that laughter would break down any tension in a room. Growing up I always had a keen sense of when to utilize my jokes and make others laugh to make their day better. When I got to college my counselor told me I needed to major in communications because I was charismatic ,charming,and hilarious . I noticed when having comical conversations I had a witty response that would make others laugh and I delivered almost immediately. I began doing skits with my college friends and met multiple comedians in the Houston area who are like minded and liked my comedic style. I’ve been doing YouTube, and instagram comedy for about 7 years now and have acquired a fan base. I began working with my brothers in comedy Kreative Comedy (Reestopher) and my other brother Tre Nubb we have been working together for years working independently and as an collective to bring laughter to the algorithm.🙏🏽 I give Thanks To Jesus Christ for allowing me to bring happiness to people through laughter
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was very much so a block when first starting Comedy. I being the solo comedic act would find it hard to find others who could act and complement my comedy style. It was also an obstacle collaborating with other comedians who also wanted to see you win. In Skits and Comedy is a very competitive field and others take your talents as a threat. I also teach for a living and I try not to curse or be provocative in my content because I see what it can do to the youth.

I am a social media influencer . I specialize in laughter and jokes. I’m most known for my Youtube Run as Timsofunny doing multiple pranks on my friends on YouTube. I converted to instagram comedy and gained a good following . Im known as a good time a great vibe . I also pray on my platform I have to Give God his glory amongst my success. I think what sets me apart from most others is don’t really cuss I don’t try to really do trends I like to do original content it makes me feel better as a creator.
