Today we’d like to introduce you to Wait4u.web.
Hi wait4u.web, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Ed Lara and I (Grayson Mosk) met while touring with another artist and realized we had a lot of similar musical influences and instincts as writers. We started working on music when we got home, but life got in the way and the songs we had started ended up sitting untouched for about a year.
Eventually, we came back to the first demo we had started and finished it. That song became “Droid,” which ended up being our most first release. We put it out in July 2025, and from there things started moving pretty quick.
We knew we wanted to see how far we could take it, so we brought David Guevara into the band. He officially joined the band and began writing with us. Since then we have released 4 singles and our debut EP while playing shows in Houston and building an online community.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Being in a band is never the easiest path especially if you’re looking for stability or a safety net. There have been moments where the easiest choice would have been to quit and do something else. But we’ve built a community of friends and fans around our music that makes it impossible for us to imagine doing it any other way. We’re still pretty early in our journey as a band, but our community’s passion keeps moving us forward and proves to us that we have something special.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are an alternative rock band based in Houston, Texas, that takes influence from shoegaze, indie rock, and early-2000s alternative electronic and emo influences. We’re focused on writing music that has nostalgic elements while also pushing the boundaries of what rock music is, without being confined to any one subgenre or sound.
What sets us apart is that we take the entire project seriously as a creative identity. We aren’t trying to fit into a genre or chase current trends and influences in music. We want to make something that feels recognizable as our own. Something that people can hear, see, and associate with us. We are still relatively new as a band, but we’re proud of how far we’ve come and believe there is a lot further for us to go.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Just start. If we kept waiting for the perfect guitar riff or lyrics we would never share our music anywhere. We write under the idea that the best demo is the one you finish. You’ll learn more by just doing the thing than waiting for the perfect strike of inspiration or developing the perfect plan but never executing.
