Originally from Venezuela, I lived in Atlanta, GA for 15 years before moving to Katy in 2013. The passion for pastry has been present in my family for generations, this is how this skill came to me, from the hand of my grandmother and aunts. Little by little, I have been adapting it to capture the particular flavors that remind us of our traditions. I started baking exclusively for my niece’s birthdays and surprisingly, it was a great success among family and friends who started to spread the word and so that’s how Yanilu Rondon Cake Design started.
Has it been a smooth road?
When you love what you do, no road is hard, they are long hours of work behind each creation but the satisfaction of the client is my best reward.
