Joseph and Juan Carlos, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Juan Carlos and I were avid practitioners of meditation and yoga and we were interested in purchasing a floating pod in order to further our meditative practice and expand our awareness. After floating countless times in numerous places across the United States and Europe, we decided to bring our community in Houston a truly luxurious and eco-friendly floating experience. The root purpose of Healing Waters Float Spa is to provide a tranquil and grounding float spa for pure relaxation, recovery and rejuvenation. A floatation is a phenomenal tool in helping to cultivate mental stillness. The core focus on creating Healing Waters for us is to share and provide our city with the ultimate floatation experience that offers profound benefits for your health on all levels through meditation in a float cabin.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to opening Healing Waters for Juan Carlos and I has been full of its challenges but after opening our doors the response and embrace of the community have been humbling and fulfilling. The challenge is to educate the population on the benefits of floatation therapy and our goal is always to educate and empower which is a test we always welcome.
