Meet Shon and Melinda Tillman of True Digital Media Consulting

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shon and Melinda Tillman.

True Digital Media Consulting started when Shon saw a need to service the small to medium size business owner without them being charged excessive fees for marketing with little results. He realized while working for companies in the digital marketing industry that the small business owner was not always able to afford the full range of digital marketing products or services. Mainly because the larger corporations charged a higher cost in order to make profits or didn’t offer the products or services clients needed. Leaving the client having to handle other parts of their digital marketing strategy that they have little to no knowledge of how they really work. He wanted business owners to be able to get a customized website at an affordable price with a marketing strategy that would show a great return on investment. The website is only the beginning of their client’s journey through.

They strive to make sure their clients understand all of their options in digital marketing. From your online reputation, social media management, online ads, branding and display campaigns, they walk each client through all of their options so they can make the best decision to market their business!

True Digital Media Consulting has formed relationships with Yelp, Yellow Pages, Facebook, Bing, Yahoo, LinkedIn and of course Google. They service a wide variety of clients from attorneys, politicians, home remodeling, podcasts, financial services, HVAC and even wedding DJs.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been a really good transition. Melinda owns another company, ATM Express Financial and Tax Services, so she was already knowledgeable in the day to day operational needs to run a business. She is also an accountant, which made handling our books that much easier. Shon has been in the field for several years managing campaigns of all sizes and within a wide variety of industries. Shon understands there is no one size fits all packaging for digital marketing. Every company and every goal is different. Sometimes the goals change with the season or month. Working with True Digital allows our clients to have a flexible company that moves and grows with them.

What sets us apart will answer every other question, it’s simple, we really care. We care about each client we work with and their goals for success. Most small business owners are not in the know of the latest trends in digital marketing, or marketing of any kind. We tell our clients to think of us as your marketing department down the hall. We help teach clients what each service is, and how it can help them. Most small businesses need websites, they either never had one or they need a new one that is mobile responsive with updated keywords, meta tags, etc. We stress the importance of having consistent and accurate information across the internet.

Making sure all of the company’s data is listed the same way, with the same information on every directory. After then, we go into what marketing tactics and strategies would be best for your specific business and goals. We offer SEO for your website, pay per click ad management, social media management and social media ads management and so much more, We can have display ads on a variety of websites such as CNN, Good Housekeeping or whatever site is relevant for your business type to target your audience.
