Today we’d like to introduce you to Cinthya Aguilar.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
Lunita started as a hobby, I began playing with watercolors (that were actually a gift from my husband), then I started to practice calligraphy and absolutely fell in love with it! I began to take some online courses and tutorials and started to sell my work back in 2016. Today I feel this is truly my calling! I enjoy everything about it, there is something new to learn or create every day!
Please tell us about your art.
I love modern calligraphy, watercolor illustrations, floral illustrations. I love to create wedding invitations, day-of items like place cards, menus, paper goodies like calendars, note cards, almost anything! As long as it incorporates lettering and design.
I hope I inspire people to do what they truly love, to create something every day and to never give up on their dreams.
Do you have any advice for other artists? Any lessons you wished you learned earlier?
I feel that practice is the only advice I have. And just do it 🙂
