Today we’d like to introduce you to Alle Pace.

Alle, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have always known I’ve had the passion to be in the Esthetic/Cosmetic industry. Growing up, when I went to visit my grandparents, my grandmother would always introduce me to new skincare products and makeup as well as teach me how to take care of my skin. It was always the highlight of my visit. That, and when she would come in at night and rub our feet down with expensive hand cream, how could we forget that?! After I took some college courses to get my “basics” in, I realized that I should just go for what I’ve always loved. I attended Cosmetology school only to realize that I wasn’t much into doing hair, and my true passion was in skin and makeup. With this in mind, I started working for a Skincare and cosmetic company where I could exercise my excellent customer service and beauty skills to their full potential. While working for that company I decided I needed to take this passion further, and get my license as an Esthetician. So, I attended a great school in Houston where I learned a lot, went to work in the Houston spa industry briefly and ultimately decided I truly wanted to be a solo Esthetician. I wanted my own studio where I could treat my guests and make sure their entire experience with me was the best that it could be.

With no clientele, 5 years of retail experience and only having been in the spa industry a year, I dove in and started Paradise Lash & Skincare in Katy, TX. I special in lash extensions, facials, lash and brow tinting, chemical peels, facial waxing, microdermabrasion and more to women and men of all ages. Located inside Blue Lion Salon Studios, I offer a very relaxing environment where everyone can feel comfortable and “at home.” I’m coming up on a year in my business now, and I can say I’ve never truly been happier in my professional life. Starting a business has not been easy, there are a lot of things I have learned and am continuing to learn about myself and the industry, but I can say I did the right thing in taking that leap of faith. I find joy in helping my guests with their skin, educating them on proper skin care practices, doing their makeup or lashes, or providing any other service I offer that makes them smile and feel good about themselves. In my practice, I ensure every single guest gets the upmost customer service in a relaxing environment. Every service is tailored to the needs and wants of the guests to ensure each one is satisfied. Because I personalize each service, I pride myself in taking my time with you, talking about what you truly want in your service, and how we can achieve our goal. I educate each client on any home care, whether it be with Skincare or lashes, and I always make sure I educate on proper beauty practices. At Paradise Lash & Skincare I always assure a quality service to every single client, every single time.

Has it been a smooth road?
Being that I started this business with no clientele, I would have to say that is the most difficult feat I’ve gone through. Word of mouth is number one in this industry and that’s how I have overcome this, but it’s definitely a struggle for a small, local business to gain steady clientele. I offer a referral program to everyone- each person you refer, you each get $5 off any service or product, and on the third referral you receive a free service. It’s a great way for you AND your friend to save!

I specialize in customized premium individual eyelash extensions. I have two lash certifications under my belt and let me tell you, ladies love their lashes! Who wouldn’t want to wake up and not worry about makeup?! I also provide lash and brow tinting, facial waxing, custom facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, and more.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I adore so many things about Houston. As a native Houstonian who’s lived in the area all my life, I must say I embrace so many aspects of it. The diversity, the food, the shopping, the museums, the immense amount of talented people, the sunshine, the rodeo, and my favorite aspect, is the fact that we are only a couple hours from any beach, lake, or river! Amongst the things I like least would be the weather and traffic!
