Today we’d like to introduce you to K Parker.
Growing up, K. Parker’s musical influence not only came from his aunt (Dena Estes) but also the talented vocals from artist such as Mint Condition and H-Town. This was the moment he knew what he wanted to become in life! Practicing every day to become as good as his local heroes. K. Parker also listened to big-name artists such as R. Kelly, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Tank and Jodeci which helped perfect his craft.
While serving his country for 8 yrs in the U. S. Navy, now a VETERAN OF THE UNITED STATES NAVY. K. Parker began writing songs and got the idea to become a performer himself. Along the way, he has met several influential people who have helped make his transition to fame a huge success. Recently, K. Parker has received a nomination for Best Male R&B artist for Houston’s 4040 Awards. He is on the Top 10 list on ReverbNation and was just announced Best R&B Song Winner for his song “All of You” by Akademia. Now, signed with Kash On Demand Records. He is a force to be reckoned with and a star to look out for!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Oh no. It’s never going to be a smooth ride if you want success. I feel and this is my opinion, that success is earned. Because success is sacrificing the things that you think is cool but it really isn’t. You have to go get it yourself first and then they will come to you. They have to see how much you really want it. If it’s for you, God will see you… well, God will help you through that door. And now, I feel God has given me that door… thanks to my brother Alfredo, which is my manager and the CEO of KASH ON DEMAND RECORDS. And, I would like that name private for now. I’m all for privacy. He’ll tell himself… but he’s the chill in the cut type guy… but, we are our brother’s keeper.

Well, I’m an R&B singer for KASH ON DEMAND RECORDS. I’m known for performing arts. Music is like a dream come true for me. I just love singing. Sometimes, I sing and don’t even realize it until someone tells me. Weird but it’s so funny because afterward, they ask where can they find my music. I’m just grateful for the moment I was blessed with this gift. My sound is different. Because I want it different. That R&B/SOUL…
What were you like growing up?
Truthfully, I was a bad little boy..getting into trouble. Getting others in trouble with their parents. I was bad. I really enjoyed playing baseball. Loved being in that diamond for some reason. I felt comfortable out there in the outfield. Because I had speed. I could run and catch the quicker than the others…😂😂😂😂 but hey, as I grew… I became the charmer. Kind, sweetheart, to the ladies. I was just having fun. But, I was still that shy guy.
Just go to a party and just sit down and away from others. But, hey now, I’m just a laid back type of guy.
