Established in 2013, The Bougainvilleas is an exclusive and unique venue featuring a grand ballroom, a chapel, a wineroom and two wedding suites. Decorated with a stunning floral entrance that will captivate your guests’ attention, it is your perfect venue for memorable weddings and special events.
Boasting a management team with over two decades of customer expertise and event planning experience, we serve Houston’s culturally diverse and international clientele. We specialize in customizing your events and executing them no matter how formal, lavish or private.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Not at all, being a new small business is challenging as customers do not know what you can offer. It also makes it hard for them to trust us with such an important event in their life.
We always have to maximize our resources and help each other, it’s just like being a family. Of course, the economy as well as the oil & gas slowdown has affected us as well.
Luckily, we’ve still managed to steadily grow over the past 4 years and project more growth as the year’s progress.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Bougainvilleas – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
The Bougainvilleas is a high-end event and wedding venue with an impeccable attention to details, customer service, and expertise in managing and hosting any event.
I am one of the sales & event coordinators at the venue. With a degree in graphic design & marketing I handle the company’s website, social media and all printed marketing material. I also assist clients in picking the right package for them, close their contracts and ultimately handle their event from A-Z. I do hire and train new sales staff as needed. I would say that I am best known for my meticulous attention to detail, working under pressure and strong time management.
As a company, we are most proud of how much we have grown in the past couple of years while maintaining a customer satisfaction of 99%. We are lucky to have an amazing dedicated team that is always working hard to go above and beyond any client’s expectations.
What makes us different from others is that everyone who walks through our doors is a family member. We offer a personal experience that no other place does while listening carefully to every special request we get. Each one of our staff members pays extreme attention to every tiny detail in every event no matter how lavish or simple. In our venue decor, we have opted for a unique Mediterranean feel with arches down our hallways and bougainvilleas all around our entrance. Our chapel with the French doors and natural light is never less than breathtaking.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We are always looking forward to new opportunities and absolutely love working with all the people who walk through our doors. It has been a blessing being part of someone’s story and we have crossed paths with many amazing clients through this journey so far.
We are planning to expand and currently looking to acquire a second location, we are extremely excited to find the next perfect place.
