Meet William Harris of HLoyal Management & PR in Midtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to William Harris .

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I got started in the film, fashion industry first all kinda by accident. At the age of twenty, I found myself working for the Kirby company in Victoria tx, as I was walking through the mall on my lunch break, as I was walking I spotted some lights and a small runway stage and I saw the commotion, the crowd and I spotted a photographer, but before I could make my way a beautiful, energetic woman pop out from behind a banner turns out the and next thing I know I was an intern for the American Mall Model Search, after Victoria their next stop was Houston so I decided to follow them. To make an even longer story shorter, skip some of those gory details I ended up getting a full-time position, got to travel with two most wonderful, inspirational people Antonio Rivera, Stephanie Perez. After almost a year with model productions as an assistant, talent scout. I moved to New York got the opportunity to work for Designer Adian Alicea, Being apart of a few pr teams for some A-list movies and really put my resolve to the test. I was debating about moving back to Texas, but what made my decision besides the cost of New York rent was I had a cousin named “Charlite” who got signed to a new Austin Tx record label and needed Manager, pr person so I took the job, I saw my what I could do and I launched my company and got a few more clients and I begin my journey.

Has it been a smooth road?
No. And where do you want me to start? I was thrown in the fire from the start even when I got my start performing under pressure and figuring things out as I went. But to answer your question, Having to stay strong, keep your heart for what you wanna do, but I feel everyone goes through that. I had gone to jail at the time I thought was when my company was really picking up, no worries it was due to probation I was on from when I was 18-19 years old. it was 2015 and I had just dedicated all my best efforts in building the Mysterious by Npn brand with designer Nicholas Nguyen who made the decision to walk away from me , I had worked with since 2013 , I had also begun signing and being sawt after more with music artist, I just had just started working with my now main Music Artist client Cityboistreets as his publicist. But after a hit like that, I thought I wasn’t going to bounce back or even get clientele. Obviously, I was over exaggerating. Finding out the ppl that are really in your corner. Also, you have your normal small business issues.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the HLoyal Management & PR story. Tell us more about the business.
Now I’m still one of the top fashion publicists from the Houston market, now Working with international designer Danny Nguyen and His brands DNC ( Danny Nguyen Couture), Famous and Love. Also working with the expansion of Celebrity jewelry Designer Jimmy Crystals, Modisch Worldwide. And winning 2016/2017 Texas fashion pr award also helps.

Being the Publicist, Casting Director sometimes Production Manager / or Assist Director working with Ox Pictures and Director/ Producer David Nguyen helps to make a lot of noise in the industry I worked like of Travis Scott to Nba stars like James Harden.

And now is the manager of signed recording artist Cityboistreets who I’m so proud to work with just is amazing. Also, my company handles PR for local talent radio host Skyla Dawn, Model/ Actor Jules Palton, and Internation clientele as well. I’m so blessed and proud and to have such I diverse portfolio, clients, contacts. And being able to expand nationally and internationlly it was alot of hardwork , luck, heart.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Well as of Houston when it comes to film I want more local productions, films we have so much talent and history and beauty why aren’t we boosting and bring and building were one of the largest cities and Texas is Texas why not be number 1, as far as music and fashion nothing needs to be said in the last 2 years the fashion scene has just exploded with these amazing talents and new celebrity designers and young upcoming hell I have helping some of them. The music we are one the sound creators, innovators and it will continue.
