Life and Work with Krystal Collins

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krystal Collins.

Krystal, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
June 2017, I was laid off from my job. While at home with my kids for the summer, I started brainstorming on what I was going to do. I decided to do massages full-time, but I decided I would work for myself. I made a plan and started working on it. Now, I’m proud to say I’m an independent Massage Therapist.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road has not been smooth. When ideas and events don’t go as planned, don’t give up or let it kill your spirit. Always, be receptive to change and figure out a way to turn situations into a win-win.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Hands of Care Massage & More – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I am a certified massage therapist and certified yoga instructor. I specialize in pain relief. I am known for promoting total wellness beyond your Massage and helping others stress less. Genuinely, helping clients feel less stress physically & mentally without needing pain meds is what I’m proud of the most. I believe my passion for total wellness for everyone sets me apart from others.

Who have you been inspired by?
My Mother, Debra Martin inspired me to be dedicated and work hard. She never called into work, she put children before herself and raised four children on her own with little.

My Aunt Georgia Neal, inspired me to push myself beyond my best, to work for myself and be able to look good while handling business. She’s self-employed with multiple streams of income after leaving her corporate job.

My amazing friend, Tiffany Cooper inspired me to be a great businesswoman and to stay focused on overachieving my goals. Tiffany encourages me to never settle and always take risks for greater rewards, think about the return on any investment made into my business, and most importantly, I’m more than just a wife & mother.
