Phincy, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve been a pediatric occupational therapist for 18 years and work with children all throughout the Houston area. I created a staffing agency to help me with the growing need I found. About 2 years ago – I decided to open up the blo bar after realizing we didn’t have anything like it in the Sugar Land area. We were driving almost 30-45 minutes into the city if we wanted to get our hair done at a Blow Bar!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The franchise is wonderful – very supportive – but as with everything there are hiccups- some larger than others! Been difficult to juggle the 2 businesses and my family with 3 children! Such is life!!

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Nothing- it’s been a great overall. Everything is a learning experience, so if I didn’t go through what I have been so far- I wouldn’t be learning from it! Experience brings wisdom! 🙂

- $45 for a blow out for all hair lengths and textures (only those with bonded extensions have added charge)
- $60 for full face makeup service; $35 for eyes only
- $100- Blo on the go- we come to you!
- $170- in house bridal services for hair (includes consultation before and hair on wedding day)
