Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Michelle.
Jessica, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
In 2016, I came up with the idea because I would always shop and find great, stylish clothing for a really good price and I wanted to share my sense of fashion with the world. I am a woman who came from not having financial security within our home growing up but I could put a cute outfit together with the funds I did have. After doing research and studying different vendors and the process, I decided I was ready to start my journey as an entrepreneur. Its really long nights up working and thinking of better ways to become a bigger brand. I do everything for myself, website design, promotion, and hunting for quality clothes, so a shopping experience with my boutique is almost as if their shopping through my closet!
Has it been a smooth road?
Times are definitely not easy because I work alone. Many nights I’m studying the business, reading marketing books, and discussing with my close peers about my goals. Going through different vendors, running through the bad ones until you find a good one is extremely stressful and time-consuming. At times when I’m working on school work and my mind is on my business. I consider it my child, and I wanna spend every moment making it grow and become strong and successful.

Royalty B is an online clothing store, providing a personal shopping experience to those all over. I feel like my business will set me apart from others because It’s me personally working and picking the clothes and designing the website, so it gives people not only a great shopping experience but an insight of my thoughts and my inner self. So far, I am proud of just being able to start something and work and help it build.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
My business is online, so it gives me a more open selection to be seen in, not just one city. But, I do believe location does matter but with determination and persistence, the location doesn’t matter at all.
