Today we’d like to introduce you to Britt Caffarena.
Britt, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
This is my wonderful journey through the world of gemstones and jewelry! I will never forget the day that my dad gave me a ring with a tiny, sparkling diamond illuminating the center. I couldn’t stop staring at it! I immediately wanted to see it through a magnifying glass and later a microscope. The passion has never ceased.
I would love to work with you and your personal jewels by inspecting, identifying, and discussing real value, ultimately determining their best use for you and your family. I’m a designer and Graduate Gemologist who studied at the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.) & I have over 25 years of education and experience in the jewelry business!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We signed our lease just two weeks before Hurricane Harvey! Uggh! We had some personal losses, and so many of our friends and family have suffered too! It isn’t easy to focus on life’s luxuries when so many others are in need. So we used our energy creating several donation items and slowly repairing what we could. We are stronger than ever now and see the blue skies ahead!
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Better Bling Studio – what should we know?
Better Bling is all about helping people feel great in their jewelry. We are a small studio with myself and my master Goldsmith who has been creating fine jewelry for 35 years!
We work with all types of clients who have items that are not really working for them as well as clients who want to create the perfect Dream Ring! Our bright studio is a great creative space for a private appointment with our professional team! We just celebrated our first year in a historic building!
This is the ideal space to bring new life to your family jewels. We love what we do, and it shows. You’ll love our quality service and great pricing too! We want to be your jewelers for life! I feel the biggest compliment from my customers is that I am able to offer them unique and creative design ideas and combinations of jewelry pieces that they “LOVE”!

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
We are loving what we do, and it is the most important key to success! If someone would hand me a million dollars then guess what… I’d still do this! Better Bling is just my thing!
