Today we’d like to introduce you to Julian Issac.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Growing up, I always took an interest in creating. Throughout school, I always chose art classes over any other elective. Once in high school tattooing became an interest when my homie asked me to draw him a tattoo design.
Over the weekend, he went and had the tattoo done and came Monday he showed me. I thought that was pretty cool to see something I drew on someone else’s skin. After high school, I was starting to get tattooed more, and I was offered an apprenticeship based on the pre-drawn designs I would bring in.
At that point, I had nothing better to do so I Dropped out of HCC, went to the tattoo shop and now I’m here.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The apprentice stage was definitely an obstacle. It sucks, but it tests your devotion and will teach you many things you will need in the industry. But challenges I feel you always come across in art. Everyday tattooing I come across another challenge.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Deadbaybees – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I do tattoos for business. I specialize in bold and black.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Looking forward to doing more tattoos, meet new clients, TRAVEL and grow with ‘Red Eye Gallery Tattoo Studio.’
