Today we’d like to introduce you to Zara Martínez.
Zara, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
From my young age, I loved working with children, and it was in my adolescence when I started discovering that I liked poetry since I wrote verses of friendship to my friends.
When I finished my studies, I started a new episode in my life in the United States where I became a mother. It was there when I realized that poetry resurfaced again, inspired by the love and tenderness I felt for my children. I started writing to love, to life, to those moments of lovelessness and to give thanks to God through my poems.
Poemas de inspiración is my first work, was launched in December 2015, a book of poems among which you can find love poems, love, for children and babies and occasional.
Today, I am about to launch my second book inspired by the tenderness and love that my children mainly inspire me.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
They have no idea how many humiliations I spent so many criticisms there were people who hated me it seems chaotic I know, but it was my reality.
There was someone who told me in my face that he had only used me that he felt sorry for me and also whoever laughed in my face In short everything that ever happened I turned it into strength and change for me.
I did not sit down crying my sadness, on the contrary, I prayed to my heavenly father for mercy, and he listened to me and rescued me becoming the woman that I am today, Not a perfect woman because I am far from being one, but the best version of me.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I have learned to give love to others through my writings even without knowing them, I have learned that beauty also exists in the lyrics and more if accompanied by pure love and that on the other side of the world, someone can know your interior without having you near…
I would not change anything in this story, but I can continue to improve my future.
