Today we’d like to introduce you to Toussaint Davis.
Hi Toussaint, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in Chicago, and music has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve wanted to be a singer for as long as I can remember, and I’ve spent these past few years working hard to create great songs for my fans. Dancing is also a big part of who I am—it’s something that fuels my passion and keeps me connected to my art. Everything I’ve been through has led me to this moment, and I’m grateful to be living my dream.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been bumpy but i’m always actively working towards paving a smooth road. A struggle i’ve had most of my life has been learning to understand my emotions. I feel a lot for everything in life and I want to be able to find balance in my passion.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I work as a Teachers Aide for an Elementary school. Assisting in classrooms for grades 3rd-5th. I’m most proud of helping kids find security in being themselves. My goal for the kids is to love themselves and be prepared for the future. What sets me apart from the others is my compassion and patience.
