Today we’d like to introduce you to Erica Rosa.
Hi Erica, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Looking back, every chapter of my life has been connected by one common purpose: helping people. I spent nearly fifteen years working in healthcare, first supporting patients through breast reconstruction and later managing a private plastic surgery practice, where I discovered my passion for business, leadership, and aesthetics. I also had the opportunity to partner in launching a physician-led skincare brand, helping build the business through product development, branding, website creation, and strategic planning.
Recently, I transitioned from healthcare into business consulting and digital brand strategy. That decision has allowed me to combine my passion for business, creativity, and helping others in an entirely new way. Today, I work alongside businesses and brands, helping bring their ideas to life through strategic consulting and authentic storytelling.
Regardless of the role I’ve held, my purpose has always been centered on serving others.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I’ve learned that growth rarely happens inside your comfort zone.
One of my earliest challenges came when I became an emancipated minor at sixteen. Supporting myself at such a young age required me to grow up quickly, and I made the difficult decision to leave traditional high school to work. It taught me responsibility far earlier than I expected. I learned to rely on myself, adapt, and keep moving forward, and that resilience continues to guide me today.
I earned my GED and never stopped pursuing my education. Attending college had always been a dream of mine, so earning degrees from NYU and Western Governors University became deeply personal milestones. They reminded me that your starting point doesn’t determine your future.
More recently, leaving a successful healthcare career to pursue entrepreneurship was one of the biggest leaps of faith I’ve ever taken. It has been both exciting and intimidating, but it has reinforced my belief that some of life’s greatest opportunities begin just outside of certainty.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Erica Rosa?
Today, my work combines business consulting with digital content strategy. I partner with businesses and brands to tell authentic stories that connect with their audiences while staying true to each brand’s identity and mission. I love finding creative ways to bridge businesses with the people they serve because I believe the strongest brands are built on genuine connection and trust.
Being both a strategist and a creator allows me to see projects from multiple perspectives and bring that insight to every brand I work with.
What I enjoy most is helping people bring their ideas to life. Whether I’m working with a business owner launching a new venture or helping an established brand tell its story, there’s something incredibly rewarding about taking an idea that exists only in someone’s imagination and turning it into something meaningful.
But what I’m most proud of isn’t a title or a project. It’s knowing that my willingness to continue learning and take risks has inspired my son to believe in himself and pursue his own goals. Watching him become more independent and take pride in his accomplishments has meant more to me than any professional milestone. It reminds me that sometimes the most powerful lessons we teach aren’t through our words, but through the example we set.
How do you think about luck?
I think what looks like luck is often a mix of faith, preparation, and the right people showing up at the right time. I’ve had real moments of good fortune. Doors have opened when I least expected them, but I’ve come to believe those doors tend to open for people who are willing to walk through them.
My faith has always reminded me that I don’t have to have everything figured out before taking the first step. Some of my biggest opportunities came from trusting God enough to say yes before I felt completely ready.
I feel incredibly grateful for every opportunity that has come my way. Each one has encouraged me to keep growing and trust that even the most uncertain moments can lead to something meaningful.
