Carissa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve always wanted to start an online women’s clothing store years ago. One day I told myself to get up and start that business and I did just that.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s by far from smooth but it’ll be worth it. Networking and posting on social media was something that I lacked. I changed that and started posting more on social media.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As I’m still new to the business, I’m still learning things. I have different variety of clothing to purchase from active wear, casual wear and dressy clothing. I’m focused on expanding my business, meeting new people, and developing branding ideas.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
If someone is just starting out, stay consistent and dedicated. There will be times when it’ll be difficult, but don’t give up and keep going. Stay focused. Hard work pays off.
