Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was working in the dental field and I was not satisfied with having no flexibility. As a single mother, I needed to balance work with being a mom. I wanted to set my own schedule, determine how much money I could make and be my own boss. I got certified and began lashing in my free time. Eventually, I started making more money lashing, and in less time, so I decided to do that full time and ultimately created my own business. Once the business grew, I wanted to expand in several ways. I got certified to teach, started my own lash brand, created a social media presence, added another lash artist and a social media manager.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Building my business from the ground up and having success was difficult when first starting out. Initially, I had to use other company’s materials that were poor quality. As my business and clientele grows, many clients come from very far away and always ask for me to open locations closer to their house. Client satisfaction is my primary concern, so I constantly have to adapt to clients’ needs.
What’s next?
Opening more locations so that my clients don’t have to drive so far to come see me every two weeks. Expand my team and add more products to my online store so other lash artists can continue to buy from my line and continue to give my customers the best service possible!
