Today we’d like to introduce you to Nashey Perry.
Hi Nashey, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always had a sharp eye for design and great communication skills, so I finally turned my side hustle into my main moneymaker! With more than ten years of corporate experience, I decided to put my B.A. in Mass Communications and M.S. in Business Management to use and launch the virtual assistance and brand design agency, Perriellei. My vision is to provide opportunities for under-served communities in efforts to generate wealth. I understand that poverty is a mindset, and I am on a mission to empower and encourage others to live out their purpose and prosper!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
If someone would have told me four years ago that I would be where I am today, I would actually believe them. I have always been intentional about my life and as a woman of faith, I strongly believe in living for a greater purpose. However, the biggest challenge I had was transitioning from corporate to entrepreneur life. I had to adjust my mental and emotional space in order to show up consistently and confidently for my own business, which was and to be transparent is STILL not as easy as most people think. However, I am taking all the negatives and turning them into positives by staying the course.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Perriellei is the premier virtual assistance and brand design agency that helps service-based companies, organizations and influencers build brands and grow their business with top-tier content marketing.
We provide clients a luxury service and experience tailored to meet their personal and professional goals. In addition, the exclusive service packages offer executive assistance, brand development, brand management, and media relations.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Taking a risk can be scary and awkward, but those short-lived feelings pass. I am learning to get out of my own way and take the necessary risk to reap the necessary rewards. For instance, I am hosting my first in-person networking event and I am wildly excited and optimistic about it despite the odds. I have already made up in my mind that if one person shows up or ten people show up, the reward of connecting with someone who wants to invest in their brand is worth the risk.
