Today we’d like to introduce you to David Krichmar.
David, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I originally earned my Real Estate license when I was 19yrs old. While I was going to Penn State for my degree, I would go and take real estate classes before my college classes. Real estate was my first love, but I went into the mortgage business right out of college and hasn’t looked back yet. I have been helping families get into homes for over 16yrs now. I have been lucky enough to be interviewed for many national articles, written many of my own and have won awards for my customer service and mortgage production. I have two beautiful children Lilith and Roman. And also have an amazing, beautiful and supportive wife Nidia.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not always been a smooth road when the mortgage business crashed years ago I had to re-invent my business and marketing. To me, the hard times are what really separates you from your competition. It also allows you to always remember its not always easy.
Please tell us about Dave Your Mortgage Guy.
I am known as Dave Your Mortgage Guy. And work for Legend Lending. We are a local company here in Houston. My goal is to make the mortgage process as stress-free as possible, and my clients will agree. So many times it can be stressful to get a mortgage and buy a home, so I have always gone above to not let my clients feel that way. I am known for having great mortgage rates many times beating my competition and even the big banks. Also, about 30% of my business are loans where the client was denied at another bank or lender, and I was able to get them approved.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Playing basketball- it was such a happy time for me being on the court.
