Meet John Dominguez III of Formers International in Pasadena

Today we’d like to introduce you to John Dominguez III.

Formers International was founded in 1975 and since the beginning, it has always been about their former family.

John was a founding partner in the company and has passed the torch to his son, John Dominguez III. At Former’s International every partnership starts with the quality of their product and ends with becoming a member of their Formers’ family. They focus on creating a quality product that keeps their partners manufacturing lines running smoothly.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There are a lot of moving parts to run an international company. Challenge can arise with market prices, shipping, etc. Formers International takes a proactive approach to solve each problem as they come.

Formers International – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
At Former’s International, we create form-fill-and-seal bag assemblies that are guaranteed to perform perfectly every time, we turn first-time customers into loyal partners who we call family. These partners give us a direct line into the ever-changing needs of the packaging industry and enable us to constantly innovate; something we have been doing for more than 40 years.

This innovation means that our product is always improving and getting stronger, just like our partnerships with our Formers’ family.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Define success on your own terms. I see success when we go above and beyond with every client. Success is a personal standard, small or large.
