Today we’d like to introduce you to Racquel Watson.
Hi Racquel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
One day my fiancé called me and said “Roxi We need a side Hustle”. I hung up and immediately googled ” Ways To Make Extra Money. I saw a large number of things from candles to car air fresheners, but nothing that I felt we would be interested in for a long period of time. So we fast forward to the following Sunday and we hosted a brunch at our home I made my famous shrimp and grits and after everyone ate I heard someone say ” I would defiantly pay for that”. After everyone left I spent the next 6 hours creating a website that would later become our food business.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
This journey has been a blessing with a lot of lessons. In November of 2020 were blessed to have four of our dips and 3 of our alkaline tea’s In 17 convivence stores we did really well for about 5 months but it was hard to maintain our level of freshness depending on store personnel. In December we Launched another entity of the company and started preparing Meal preparations for people who want to eat better or simply do not want to cook. Now, this is one of our main focuses.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Roxi- My favorite childhood memory is baking cakes with my grandmother being eager to lick the cake batter from the bowl. I think this is where my love of cooking came from, Quality time with my grandmother. Reminds me of the time I spend cooking with Mo.
Mo- My favorite time as a child was seeing my large family gather together for crawfish boils and pour all of the food on the table and we all eat as a family.
