Meet Stephanie Pribble of Pribble & Gayle Group – A Top Producing Team of Keller Williams Metropolitan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Pribble.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with a background in advertising. I married my husband in 2014 and had an itch for a change after hopping from a few advertising companies. I have a distinct memory of how dreadful our personal home buying experience was that I knew I could make an impact. After much consideration, we came to the decision it was time to take a leap of faith. I did not take the decision lightly. It’s an industry that you sink or swim in while learning a vast array of business roles and industry aspects.

My first year in the industry was trial and error and finding my lane and strength. I stuck to what I knew – Inner loop and near the inner loop. Come year two my business partner and I stubbed upon each other and an idea and concept to create a non-traditional real estate team. Two young women teaming up and aligning their focus. I pride ourselves on not having 20+ years experience in the industry and not being stuck in a certain way of doing things. With that, most recently, we were awarded the Keller Williams Gold Achievement award and have slowly begun to grow our team.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Real estate is nothing I imagined, but everything I needed it to be. The first six months in the industry I realized it was nothing I expected or what is portrayed on television. The industry has a low barrier to entry, but on the contrary, greater than 75% of real estate agents fail within their first few years of being in business. I quickly realized if I wanted to make it in the industry it was going to be a GRIND – With hefty sides of hustle, blood, sweat and many tears. I was NOT going to fail.

It is easy to think the industry will be a breeze and instantly lucrative – However, my first year in the industry was certainly trial and error. It also came with adjusting to a non-corporate America work schedule – Working when everyone is off… Evening and weekends. The industry is like no other in the essence you sink or swim and have no formal “training”. As a then 24-year-old it was a large undertaking – Taking on a new career and industry, newly married and growing up in the midst of it all.

Thankfully and god willing, the hard work has certainly paid off and I could not imagine doing anything but real estate. It’s something I truly live and breath and have a true genuine passion for. The opportunities are endless.

Please tell us about Pribble & Gayle Group – A Top Producing Team of Keller Williams Metropolitan.
Our business encompasses everything residential real estate. I primarily focus on inner loop and near inner loop living. There’s something about inner loop living that encompasses the best of Houston. We pride ourselves in “real estate that goes beyond the home”. Inner loop living embodies culture, restaurants, shopping, outdoor recreation and entertainment.

When it comes down to it, real estate is not rocket science. In this day and age, everything is online – Consumers have so much information at their fingertips. I’m not a sales agent – We are not going to “sell” homeowners on the biggest investment of their life. I pride myself in being very black and white and transparent. Within the last year, 75% of my properties went under contract within 2 weeks. That simply comes down to truth and trust with clients.

Our team embodies what sets us apart for other agents or teams. There is no better feeling than guiding people through one the most important decisions of the life.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
This was a hard one – My favorite childhood memory is being in 5th grad and receiving my first report card with straight A’s. I’d say looking back that was a monumental moment in my life – Seeing how proud my parents and family were, proving to myself if I put my mind to something I could achieve it and getting the school recognition.

After that, striving to be the best has always stuck with me and been my goal in all aspects of life. It’s a memory that will always stick with me.
