Check out Noe Gonzalez’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Noe Gonzalez.

Noe, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
Growing up I lived in a home with both parents. My father is a carpenter, and my Mother is in finance. I played sports as a kid, baseball and football. At the age of 13, my mother was diagnosed with a Brain tumor. It was sitting on top of her eyes. The doctors said the surgery was very risky and told us there was a good chance that we could lose her. Having to say goodbye to her before her surgery was extremely traumatic for me. Thankfully the surgery went well, and she fully recovered. Afterward, life went back to normal, aside from playing sports. I was also in a band in High school, I played the saxophone. At the end of my senior year, I was jumped. The beat me pretty badly, enough to where I had to be hospitalized for a while. Obviously, the doctors did an amazing job and thanks to them I’m still here today. I now have a wonderful wife of 14 years and two children, an 11-year-old daughter, and a 10-month-old son. I was working as a computer tech for years until I finally got tired of the mundane day to day routine. I decided something had to change. So I started searching for a way to make art, be happy and at the same time earning a living. I remembered when I was younger my mother loved taking photos and I had a real love for it since then. So I started my own company. I love capturing moments for people and for myself. But I try my best to capture not just an image but the feeling within the image. I can say from experience that life is precious and that’s why I love taking pictures.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
Well, I love the craft of photography, the lighting the posing the focal lengths, etc. But more than that I want my images to produce a feeling when you look at them. Something that reminds you of a time period or a moment in life. I do also make videos and pictures for real estate agents. But that’s more paying the bills than anything. My passion is in photographing people.

What do you think it takes to be successful as an artist?
As an artist, I feel like success is being able to do what you love and take care of your responsibilities. As far as characteristics go, I feel like to be an artist you have to be true to yourself. Art is only an expression of what’s inside.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
