Hi Alisha, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I set out to grow my Instagram when I realized there was a need for body positivity and cultural representation. If you follow me on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or even Twitter, you know that I only put out positive content. I want everyone who follows me to feel motivated and happy, despite what life has been sending their way. I try to build an authentic relationship with my viewers that allows us to connect beyond screens and hopefully inspire them to live a fuller and happier life!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Honestly, it has been a road full of ups and downs! I’m really blessed to be surrounded by loyal and loving friends and followers who support me along the way. One of the struggles that I deal with is being consistent, because I know some people really look forward to my content. I am a full time real estate agent, college student and entrepreneur so things do get hectic sometimes. I try my best to keep my followers updated with new and fresh content, and they are very understanding. I have a lot of unique and exciting ideas to come, so stay tuned! 🙂

I create cultural fashion looks that celebrate my heritage. I also work with sustainable brands to bring more awareness to small companies. I feel like I may be known for promoting body positivity, because I constantly emphasize that there is not single beauty standard that any of us need to align with. Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes and colors. I’m really proud that I have followers from around the world, not just in America. I think social media is meant to connect people from all over the world, and I’m really excited that I’ve had the chance to connect with people from around the globe!
